8 Organic Lipstick Brands You Should Be Buying From

When purchasing makeup, not many women think about the ingredients in the product. Have you ever considered buying organic or cruelty free makeup? Personally, I am addicted to organic lipsticks! Because of the organic and super nutritious ingredients, my lips don’t feel chapped and dry anymore! It’s as if I’m wearing lip balm all day long but in a lipstick form. Here is a list of 8 organic lipstick brands you should be buying from!

1) Dr. Hauschka lipstick.

This organic lipstick brand has been certified as a ‘Best Buy’ product by The Independent. It has a fantastic range of colours, from pink to red to brown tones, for the perfect natural lip colour for everyone. It also contains almond oil and mineral pigments for a hydrating finish!

2) Ilia Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF15.

Although this lipstick has only four shades, it is still one of my favourite organic lipstick brands! We always forget to protect our lips from the sun but with this sheer organic lipstick, lip protection has never been easier! Try the Kokomo lip shade.

3) Absolution Organic lipstick.

The Dusty Rose shade is the perfect nude shade for me, as it compliments my pale skin. It gives a natural healthy tint to your lips, keeping them hydrated and plump with the Shea butter, apricot kernel, almond oil and other organic ingredients.

4) Odylique Organic Mineral Lipstick.

This award winning brand deserves so much recognition as it is the first lipstick to be certified to Soil Association and Fairtrade standards. The Raspberry Coulis shade is the perfect raspberry red, with extra nourishing ingredients and oils for your lips!

5) Axiology Beauty lipstick.

Axiology Beauty is an all-natural and cruelty free makeup brand specialising in creating a formula ‘from a harmonious blend of natural and organic ingredients’. This luxurious organic lipstick is both long-lasting and deeply moisturising, so it’s a must in my makeup bag!

This brand is 100% natural and non-toxic, specialising in skincare and cosmetic products. This particular lipstick could also be used as a daily lip balm, as it gives a healthy tint on the lips while the high-performance botanical ingredients do their magic!

7) KAPLANMD Perfect Pout Lipstick.

You can never go wrong with a KaplanMD lipstick! Created by the renowned dermatologist Stuart H. Kaplan, M.D., this lipstick formula contains 22 organic extracts such as sea buckthorn berry extract, for an excellent moisturising finishing. It also provides sun protection, anti-ageing benefits and the perfect coverage!

8) RMS Beauty Wild With Desire Lipstick.

This is another organic lipstick brand on the pricey side, but RMS Beauty products are a must in your makeup bag if you’re all about organic beauty! Full of antioxidants and lip nourishing goodness, this lipstick has been carefully crafted by Rose-Marie Swift, with special organic ingredients such as castor seed oil, cocoa seed butter, shea butter and calendula extract. It’s definitely worth buying!
