They serve jaw-dropping cinnamon buns, dark rye bread treats, tray bakes, berry-flavoured buns, and everyone’s favourite classics such as almond twists. What’s more, they have a great selection of savoury dishes, including smoked salmon and meatball sandwiches.

This one-off bakery is definitely one of London’s best, especially if you’re after something that’s original. Located at the heart of every foodie’s paradise (that is, Borough Market) Bread Ahead serve delicious freshly baked bread to suit all tastes. They are known in particular for their large selection of incredible doughnuts that are overfilled with delicious fillings.

6.Dominique Ansel Bakery

Now this is a definitely a one of a kind bakery, which is headed by one of the world’s best pastry chefs (no joke). They also offer their own unique creation known as a Cronut, which is an incredible combination of a doughnut with a croissant that takes three days to make.

This bakery has gone all out and certainly deserves a place on our list of the top 10 London bakeries. Proud to present their very own stone mill, the E5 Bakehouse uses only locally sourced ingredients and creates the majority of their produce from scratch (that includes their preserves and some toppings). Most of their treats are made from sourdough, so be prepared to excite your tastebuds with incredible flavour combinations.
