Good nude lipsticks are staples in every girl’s makeup bag. We rely on them to compliment our OTT eyes, and for a lazy slick of colour on a Monday morning. So, which ones are the best of the lot? We’ve rounded up the best of the best.
Cappucino-toned nudes are always a flattering shade to go for- and the creamy formula of Illamasque’s take will have your lips look moisturised all day long.
This lipstick is massively buildable, so the shade can get as intense as you want. A vast range of skin tones will suit the colour, but especially warmer, richer tones.
Very Victoria is darker than cult favourite Pillow Talk, but comes off much rosier (just with deeper undertones). It is also better in the respect of suiting loads more skin tones- no more being washed out!
A high street option that gives the perfect natural flush to the lips. It works as a quick slick nude for lighter skin tones but can be buildable to suit darker tones too.
The most budget version of the lot, but definitely not the worst. The colour is universally flattering, and goes on in full colour from the first swipe but don’t expect the colour to last all day.
Kat Von D pulled it out of the bag with this lipstick with 11 shades to choose from, so there’s bound to be one for you. The formula has also perfected being matte without any of the dryness that other lipsticks get.
This is one of the most nourishing lipsticks on the market, and also one of the more inclusive. There are quite a few shades catering to the darker skin tones- all of which are wearable and pigmented.
