The Best Hangover Drinks To Sip Your Body Back To Health

There is nothing worse than having to deal with a heavy hangover. After a crazy night out you are regretting the decision you took to drink so much, although at the moment you decided what and how much to drink, you certainly did not think about how you would feel the next day. But hey, no need to worry. Here is a list of the best hangover drinks that will sip your body back to health

1. Coconut water

Fist tip is: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. When you are hangover, your body is really dry, which is reflected in your total lazyness, headaches and so on. So keep your body hydrated by drinking some good old H2o. Coconut water is a good and tasty option to sip your body back to health.

2. Ginger and hot water

Ginger can become you second best friend during those heavy hangovers. It is known to be one of the most versatile ingredients ever seen. It is perfect for cooking and spicing up dishes but also great for blood pressure, nausea and migraines. If you are struggling with a very bad hangover, try making yourself a cup of ginger tea. All you have to do is boil some water and add loads of sliced ginger into it. If you are not a big fan of the taste, you can add lemon juice or orange slices to the water, then Boil all ingredients together. You can also sweeten it a bit by adding one or two teaspoons of honey to your ginger water.

3. Tomato juice

Not many are fan of tomato juice, but you’ve got to do what you’ve got to do if you want to get rid of the hangover and sip your body back to health. Apparently, the nutritional elements in tomato juice contains simple sugars that can get your levels of glucose up and running again. Low levels of glucose are the cause of your weakness and fatigue when you are in hangover. Although it sounds gross, tomato juice really is one of the best hangover drinks!

4. Drink coffee

Coffee isn’t officially a cure to hangover, but it does help when you have a busy day ahead of you, but your body literally refuses to move. Coffee is a quick remedy to step back on your feet again and start your day and for a while it might also hide the “hangover” look from your face.

5. Lemon tea

Drinking water and lemon tea has amazing health benefits that can help you beat the hangover, sipping your body back to health. Lemon juice contains a fair amount of vitamin C and drinking hot water with lemon is extremely good; it cleanses the liver, which is all you need when you have had way too many shots on the night before. Lemon tea also removes toxins from your system, which is perfect as in doing so, it energizes your body, refreshes your mind and improves mental clarity.

6. Cranberry smoothie

Add 50g of probiotic yoghurt to cranberry juice to sip up your health and mood on a hangover day. Yoghurt is a good source of protein and also helps settle your stomach so, a nice smoothie should be able to help you kick start your day even after a wild and crazy night.
