Liverpool John Moores University is one of the central universities in Liverpool. It is actually one of the best in Liverpool, even though it is classed as a Poly university, which LJMU students can’t forget, as we are constantly reminded that we are “just a poly” by the students at Uni of Liverpool (the enemy). It may be “just a poly”, but John Moores is full of character, from the diversity of students, including internationals and Liverpool locals, to the most eccentric tutors, there is never a dull moment, well unless you are stuck in the library for the majority of your education.
