The 5 Best Superfoods For Radiant Skin

Another food craze going around the internet is superfoods. Usually when people think of superfoods they believe that if they eat this specific food high in nutrients in abundance, then they won’t get sick anymore and that other foods less nutritious are not worth eating. However, there is no scientific proof that a certain food is a ‘superfood’; only that certain foods are high in antioxidants, minerals, and vitamins which we should incorporate into our diet for a healthier lifestyle! So these 5 best superfoods for radiant skin should be used along with your diet and not as a substitute.

Bee pollen

Bee pollen is known to help with hay fever, it’s high in protein and antioxidants that boost our immune systems. It also gives us plenty of energy! A teaspoon or two a day with your breakfast, such as porridge, cereal, smoothies, and it melts with your food as it is powdery.

Chia seeds

Chia seeds are another easy-to-eat superfood, packed with healthy nutrients. It is high in omega 3 fatty acids – if you detest fish like me then this is a great alternative to get the same nutrition! – and fiber. I like it with plain water or I add it to my breakfast!

Kefir

Kefir is fermented milk. Fermented means that healthy bacteria have grown in the milk and it tastes like runny yogurt or thick milk. It’s great for digestion and for the gut to work well because of the probiotics.
