That’s right boys… Russell Tovey is engaged and officially off the market! After what is said to have been a “completely unexpected” proposal, the Quantico and Being Human star is engaged to his long-term boyfriend, Steve Brockman. The couple is “very, very happy” to be engaged, and will be returning to London for their wedding celebration.
Tovey first took on homosexual acting roles when he was 30, a move which he says changed his entire career. Brockman played rugby for the union’s first gay-inclusive club, the Kings Cross Steelers. Together they are quite the power couple, not to mention they are adorable together.
Tovey had said in previous interviews that he would like to get married, however his dog, Rocky, is his primary concern in life. In an interview, Tovey explained that when it came to get married, he couldn’t at the moment because Rocky took up too big a place in his heart. “I’ve got my dog at the minute– he’s my everything, my sun and my moon and my mate.” Rocky makes an appearance on Tovey’s Instagram for more than Brockman, and we don’t blame him… he is SUCH a cute pup. Brockman has a pup named Archie, whom they call Rocky’s brother.
While they have moved state side, they fully intend on celebrating their marriage back home in London. We cannot wait to see the pictures and hear the details from their big day… hopefully their dogs will be involved in the ceremony.
