From ‘dresses and heels,’ classy clubbing, to all night underground raving, these infamous nights out are guaranteed to throw a hangover in the works of tomorrow morning’s lecture, library or gym session. It’s time to head ‘out out’ with Oxford’s students.

1. Fuzzy Ducks at ATIK

The Fuzz is Oxford’s longest running and most raved about student night. It’s the only place you’ll find a dance floor full of scantily clad students, dancing to the latest chart tunes, cheesy tracks and removing items of clothing to the Baywatch theme ‘I’m Always Here’. This is what makes ATIK number 1 on our list of the 5 best Oxford student nights! A substantial pre-drink is recommended before you dive into the notorious duck pond.

What to Expect:
Tragically themed sports socials left, right and center. QUACK QUACK!

2. The Bridge Club’s MNB (Monday Night Bridge)

The Bridge Club is Oxford’s bank side hub of cool n’ classy clubbing. Complete with bookable table booths, VIPs-only party area, two dance floors, one upstairs (plus pole!) and one on arrival. Monday’s tiptop student night, creatively branded as MNB (Monday Night Bridge), is to be found looking Instagramable from head to toe hear each week.

What to Expect:
A break-up, hook-up or display of impromptu house drama taking place in the garden area outside.

3. Weeknights at Purple Turtle Bar (AKA PT’s)

Directly beneath the Oxford Union, Purple Turtle let’s students and friends from out of town into its underground den all week long, and free of charge Monday – Thursday. PT’s drink deals (such as £1 a pint 5 – 9pm on weeknights) keep clubbers well refreshed.
Dance to different tunes all week long in this low-ceilinged, maze-like party dungeon. A hidden hang out more than worthy of its spot on our list of the 5 best Oxford student nights!

What to Expect:
Unique shots representing each Ox college! The Squished Smurf is a blue, congealed Bailey’s bullet to bite at least once.

4. Emporium Nightclub & Bar’s Liberal Thursdays

Go all out and get the pictures to match, with a slick, drink-sipping, dancefloor session Thursday nights at Emporium. We’re talking lashes, heels and a double from the bar. This is the best student night in Oxford to write the week off a day early.

What to Expect:
Queues winding around the corner if you show up after 11pm. Try to arrive before.

5. An Alternative House Night at Cowley Road’s Bully (The Bullingdon)

The Bullingdon is rated Oxford’s top independent live venue, and its trendy Friday and Saturday night DJ sets are a big hit amongst students. Look out for when your favourite artists are spinning tracks and bag a ticket in advance.
Students can be seen tumbling home during the early hours after a night at the Bully, fueling Cowley Road’s rep for being Oxford’s ‘it’ living street.
