The Best Holiday Resorts In Victoria

Victoria has a lot of great holiday spots and with those come holiday resorts. The place that you stay on a holiday has a big effect on the overall experience. With that in mind, these are the best holiday resorts in Victoria.

Ti-Tree Village

Made up of 20 cottages on the Bellarine Peninsula, this resort is with 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and river of Ocean Grove. The cottages are fully self-contained and most have a two-person spa bath. They also have an open fire (during winter) with plenty of firewood for you to feed the beast. You can order slow-cooked meals and platters prior to your stay and they will be in your cottage when you arrive.

From here you can visit Bellarine and sample some Victorian wine. You can also access the Great Ocen Road. The place is suitable for romantic getaways, family gatherings, or a small group holidays. You can spend a weekend, midweek, or extended holiday stay.

Seafarers Getaway

With the great Ocean Road being such a staple feature of Victoria, it’s only natural that there are many resorts located along it, like this oceanfront accommodation. It is directly opposite Seafarer’s beach and you can visit the 12 Apostles and the Otway National Park from there. Cafes, restaurants, and the farmer’s market of Apollo Bay are also only a few minutes away.

There are a few options for accommodation here. You can stay in an ocean view studio, directly overlooking the beach. These are spacious and elevated. The studios are perfect for couples. There are also top lodges that are situated on a hillside and have panoramic views of the beach. These are suitable for families. Finally, there are beach units that are right in front of the beach.

The Moorings at Metung

A waterfront accommodation located in the village of Metung overlooking Bancroft Bay. You can stay in an apartment in the bay or in Metung. The former apartments are spacious, with 2 and 3 bedroom options along with water views. The latter apartments have one bedroom and family options. There are also luxury motels, suites, and townhouses with views of Lake King.
