Which Riverdale Character Are You Based On Your Zodiac Sign

Maybe you haven’t heard of Riverdale or maybe you have and you recently binge-watched every single episode in all three seasons (hi, there). Either way, Riverdale features characters based on the Archie Comics but with an added complexity. Archie, in the comics, likes girls and milkshakes. But in Riverdale, he’s a brooding over-achiever who’s constantly feeling the pressure of being a good son, a good boyfriend, and of course keeping a safe distance from Hiram Lodge, who wants him dead.

The same can be said for the other characters as well–Betty Cooper, Veronica Lodge, Jughead Jones–their simplistic personalities in the comics are fleshed out into real human complexities for the show. With that being said, it only makes sense that each character, therefore, represents a zodiac sign. Aquarius (January 20-February 18)

Aquarius, you’re Toni Topaz, resident Southside badass. Aquariuses are independent and original, and Toni Topaz exhibits both these traits throughout the series. She loves Cheryl but also craves her own identity apart from the Blossoms. Toni is also a humanitarian, as are you, Aquarius. Remember when she saved Cheryl from the Sisters of Quiet Mercy?

You, too, love a good cause and maybe pink hair and a matching leather jacket. You crave the company of people, so maybe consider joining a gang à la the Southside Serpents or the Pretty Poisons.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

You, Pisces, are Alice Cooper, mother to Betty and Polly. You’re complicated, and there’s no denying Alice’s similar complexity. She’s compassionate and gentle, with a fierce love for her children. But she is also overly trusting. Remember when she lets Chic stay at the house despite him actually being a total stranger? Or when she kills for him and enlists Betty to help clean up the body? Yeah…but no worries, Pisces. You’re only similar to Alice in the best ways possible: wise, compassionate, and caring.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Forsythe “Jughead” Jones III: the boy who’s always hungry. In the Archie Comics, he’s always hungry for pizza, milkshakes, burgers, and fries, but in Riverdale, Jughead is hungry for the truth. You, Aries, are similar. You’re brave and assertive, meaning you take action (sometimes even before you’ve fully thought it through). You’re independent like Jughead and not afraid to take risks. Jughead Jones becomes the leader of the Serpents and, with his crew behind him, he’s able to counter any threat that comes Riverdale’s way, whether it be Jingle Jangle or the Gargoyle King.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Taurus, you’re Betty Cooper. Betty begins the show as innocent and harboring a burning love for Archie Andrews. But throughout the three seasons, Betty becomes an absolute badass, hunting for justice and the truth. Tauruses are stubborn, and there’s no denying Betty’s inability to let things go (watch season 3 for her obsession with the Farm). She’s down-to-earth and practical but uncompromising in her beliefs, and so are you, Taurus.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Sorry about this, Gemini…you are Hiram Lodge. Hiram is neither gentle nor affectionate (unless it serves him), but he is able to adapt and he’s skillful, too. His ability to adapt means that Hiram can run his illegal business in private while staying in good favor with the public. You, Gemini, are more complex than this. You’re curious and sociable and probably not a mob boss. But you look damn good in a (pant)suit.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You, Cancer, are Kevin Keller. You’re sensitive, friend-oriented, and practical. Many times throughout the series, Kevin serves as the moral compass for the other characters. And yet, at other times, Kevin is emotional and acts on those emotions. For instance, in season three, Kevin joins the Farm because, after his break-up with Moose, he’s craving community. Sure, it leads to him literally having his kidney removed, but his intentions were good.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

Leo, you’re the one and only Cheryl Blossom. Cheryl is popular and domineering and she knows it. She’s the HBIC and she wears that crown proudly. But there’s more to Cheryl than her red hair and Vixen pom-poms. Leos have the ability to unite different people for a common cause, and both you and Cheryl are no exception.

Many times throughout the series, Cheryl does just that: she leads the investigation of her brother’s murder; she joins the Serpents and comes to the rescue multiple times for both Toni and Jughead.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Congratulations, Virgo. You’re the all-American kid, Archie Andrews. You like milkshakes and that’s about it. Kidding. You’re Archie, not because of your red hair, but because you’re creative and successful. Archie is a stud at everything he does: guitar, football, boxing. Virgos are also incredibly caring and others-centered, making them the most loyal of all the signs.

Archie’s love for his dad and Veronica are showcased throughout the series, from his desperate attempt to hunt the Black Hood after his attack on Archie’s father to his faithfulness to Veronica.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Veronica Lodge is totally and utterly a Libra. She lives a lavish life, and she’s fond of expensive things. But there’s definitely more to Veronica than her pearls. She’s also diplomatic and fair-minded. Talk about complexity! Throughout the third season of Riverdale, she has to come to terms with her father’s evil ways, which proves challenging for her. But her desire for justice means she does what it takes to bring him down.

Scorpio (October 23-November 21)

Scorpio, you’re F.P. Jones, Jughead’s father. You’re resourceful, brave, and a true friend. F.P. stands as the voice of reason throughout the series. Where Jughead becomes the leader of the Serpents, he still consults his father before making any decisions. You, Scorpio, are known for your cool and calm demeanor, as is F.P. And your passion often comes off as stubbornness, but you’re just dedicated to the cause.

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

You, Sagittarius, are Fred Andrews, Archie’s dad. If there’s anyone that brings calm to the otherwise chaotic world of Riverdale, it’s Fred Andrews. He’s open-minded, loving, and generous, as are you, Sagittarius. Fred loves Archie so much, and he only wants what is best for his son. But he also craves justice and, when running for mayor in season 2, seeks to bring peace and fairness to Riverdale.

Capricorn (December 22-January 19)

Her girl group should have been called Josie and the Capricorns because that’s exactly what Josie McCoy is. Josie is hardworking, and she isn’t content until she’s number one. Josie can always be found in the music room at Riverdale High working on her dream of becoming an artist. You’re similar, Capricorn. You’re career-driven and disciplined. You’ve got your eye on the prize, and you’re not losing focus anytime soon (especially not over a cute boy).
