Where To Eat All You Can Eat Sushi In Toronto

Eating sushi à la carte is incredibly expensive, especially in downtown Toronto. We’re in a city that is filled with a plethora of top-notch restaurants, but with prices that make us and our wallets cry. Though all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants can still pack a pretty penny, you’re at the very least getting your money’s worth whenever you go. Before you make your way to any of the following AYCE sushi restaurants, we have to strongly advise going with an empty stomach — otherwise, it won’t be worth it!

1. New Generation

486 Bloor St. W.

Take care when you find your way to this AYCE sushi spot! There are two New Generation sushi places on Bloor St. W., rather close to each other, but only one is all-you-can-eat. New Generation is home to great quality fresh fish, paving the way for a wonderful sashimi selection. Their butterfish is succulent, and absolutely to die for. It’s important to note that they trend towards smaller portion sizes. So this ends up being one of a few AYCE sushi places that won’t leave you feeling bloated afterwards. New Generation is a great place to share some food with friends.

2. Fushimi

491 Church St.

Located on happening Church street, this Church-Wellesley village AYCE sushi place boasts a wide range of sushi and non-sushi items (all of which you can peruse through their unique ordering system!) Fushimi uses touch-pads to order, allowing you to load up your order and send it off without having to wait for a server to stop by. The sashimi quality here is nothing to laugh about, and the sheer range of items to choose from makes Fushimi a place you definitely need to visit more than once.

If you’re looking to try something different, we highly recommend their Beef Negi Maki roll! It’s thinly sliced grilled beef wrapped around scallions, smothered in a scrumptious teriyaki sauce.

3. KAKA All You Can Eat

655 Bay St., or 3235 Hwy 7 #18A, Markham

This beloved all-you-can-eat sushi spot opened a second location is just a few minutes walk away from Toronto’s bustling Eaton Centre. What sets this sushi restaurant apart from the rest — aside from its incredibly modern interior — is its extensive selection of high-quality fish and aburi oshi nigiri (otherwise known as torched pressed sushi.) It’s why they can get away with charging 34.99$ for their all-you-can-eat prices, but we swear to you, it’s worth every penny! A

side from their torched pressed sushi — we highly recommend the Ebi — their Chef Frank Special Roll is something not to be missed. This roll has salmon, Hokkaido scallop, avocado, cucumber and crab meat, which is then topped with spicy mayo, tobiko and unagi sauce. We’re already salivating just thinking about it!

4. Kyoto House

143 Dundas St. W.

If you’re craving a classic, no-frills, all-you-can-eat sushi spot, then look no further than this Dundas St. classic. A fan favourite amongst university students, Kyoto House offers a solid selection of good quality sushi and sushi rolls. Their YamTempura Rolls and Spicy White Tuna Rolls are options you’ll definitely want to try. We recommend going for lunch, as it’s only $15.99 to chow down on as much sushi as you can possibly handle. Keep in mind, though, that they have no sashimi on their AYCE menu!

5. Sakura Japanese Cuisine

394 Bloor St. W.

One of the more affordable all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, Sakura Japanese Cuisine provides a different range of menu items from its competitors, though their menu may be smaller than you anticipate. If you’re looking for a good place to eat with friends, the variety they do host does well to cater to those in your group who may not be in the sushi-eating mood. For those who aren’t fiending over the raw fish, we recommend trying Sakura’s deep fried gyoza. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, their cheese wontons are something to explore! Overall, Sakura is an alright place for a quick sushi lunch during the workday.
