Hello lovelies! It’s April, and I’ve been feeling the need to spring clean. Have you? I’ve been going through my mountain of clothes, making the usual keep-keep-goodwill piles, and I’ve turned up a surprising amount of cheetah print items that I never wear. So, I started planning outfits around the newfound items in my closet and came up with 10 ways to incorporate cheetah print in your wardrobe. Keep reading to find out how!
During the winter months, one way to step up your style is to add a cheetah print coat to an otherwise dull outfit.
All black, all white, brown and tan, or a mixture of these colors goes best with a classic, sophisticated look. But if you’re a rule-breaker and you like trying new things, mixing patterns or bold colors underneath your coat are a great way to showcase your personality and individuality.
As far as adding instant edge to your outfit goes, nothing will do it better than cheetah print shoes. It’s the classic go-to.
I even owned a pair of cheetah print sneakers once, and they were the best shoes ever. I constantly got compliments on them. From high heels to flats to everything in between, you can’t go wrong with a cheetah print shoe.
Let’s be honest, there is nothing better than wearing a sweater. It’s like having a blanket hug your upper body all day. Even those of us who hate winter (me) have to admit that they love sweaters.
A csweater is an instant way to step up your outfit from plain and dull to edgy and chic. It’s a great statement piece. I recommend pairing a cheetah print sweater with all black, to really give yourself a classic look while keeping it cutting edge at the same time.
Okay, I don’t know about you, but I love wearing skirts—especially in the summer when it’s really too hot for pants. I also love having a statement piece in my outfit, and a cheetah print skirt is a perfect item to include.
You can choose whatever style of skirt you like depending on what type of look you’re going for, but I like midi skirts because they’re classic-looking. Pair it with a white t-shirt and some black shoes and you’re good to go!
This is a simple way to give yourself a little glam. Adding a cheetah print headband can elevate your look without taking anything away from your entire ensemble.
I recommend using a headband when your hair is loosely curled for the best effect.
If you’re obsessed with classic movies from the 50s, you probably own at least five to ten scarves that are useless in the cold but perfect for a fashionable outfit. Attractive cheetah print scarves are hard to come by, but if you happen to find one, you should definitely buy it. Wear it with a plain black blouse to really give it a chance to shine.
7. Wrap dress
A great summer wardrobe staple is the wrap dress, and if you are going to go with a wrap you should definitely make it a cheetah print wrap!
Pants are essential to every wardrobe, so why not make them stand out? Cheetah print pants are a great statement piece to add to any outfit, especially paired with a red shirt, black heels, and a bold red lip.
If you’re not quite ready to have entirely cheetah print pants yet, another great way to add it into your outfit is with a belt. The great thing about this is that belts come in all shapes, sizes, and styles, so you have almost limitless options to choose from when you are shopping for accessories.
Pair this with a dress, pants, or a skirt and you will give your outfit a subtle lift.
Lastly, a great way to liven up your style is with a hat. Whether you choose a fedora, a wide-brim, or a beret, a cheetah print hat is a fun way to keep your fashion fresh.
