I&#8217;ve rounded up 10 quick and super healthy breakfast ideas for those busy mornings.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Homemade Granola<\/h3>\n<p>Don\u2019t let the \u201chomemade\u201d part fool you \u2013 I wouldn\u2019t put this on the\u00a0quick and healthy breakfast ideas list if it wasn\u2019t, well, quick and easy! Sure, it takes a little extra effort to make a big batch (sounds like the perfect Sunday activity to me), but it will provide you breakfast\u00a0throughout the entire week. Whitney Port from \u201cThe Hills\u201d has a great recipe\u00a0that you can find <a href=\"http:\/\/whitneyport.com\/blogs\/healthy-homemade-granola-recipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>2. Avocado Toast<\/h3>\n<p>Thanks to Instagram, avocado toast has become Insta-famous\u2026and it\u2019s not hard to understand why. Avocado toast is <em>always<\/em> a great choice. Mash up half an avocado and spread over 2 pieces of toast. Shake a little salt and pepper on top, or go a little crazy\u00a0with chili flakes\u00a0or Siracha.\u00a0YUM.<\/p>\n<h3>3. Yogurt Parfait<\/h3>\n<p>Pick a few of your favorite fruits and slice them up. Interchange layers of sliced fruit and coconut yogurt (or whichever type you prefer).\u00a0For some added texture, add in a couple layers of granola\u2026homemade granola.<\/p>\n<h3>4. Cereal<\/h3>\n<p>Are there any quick and healthy breakfast ideas more simple than a bowl of cereal? Be careful with this suggestion though \u2013 many cereals out there are packed with sugar and processed ingredients. If you really want to follow through with the healthy part, look for cereals that are organic and natural. Try adding a tablespoon of nut butter immediately after it comes out of the microwave \u2013 it melts the butter and creates a wonderfully creamy texture. Some other great topping options include spices (cinnamon, nutmeg), nuts, seeds, fruit\u00a0\u2013 you name it!<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<\/h6>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>6. Nut Butter Toast<\/h3>\n<p>Try to pick a whole grain bread that has some nutrients in it. Ezekiel bread is a great gluten free option made with organic grains. Choose your favorite nut butter (mine is almond) and spread a tablespoon on top of the toasted bread.\u00a0If you\u2019re feeling extra\u00a0fancy, garnish with sliced banana and a\u00a0sprinkle of\u00a0Chia seeds on top\u00a0for some extra energy, taste and texture.<\/p>\n<h3>7. Smoothie<\/h3>\n<p>A classic breakfast option and one of my favorite quick and healthy breakfast ideas. You can prepackage your smoothie ingredients into plastic bags and place them in the freezer. This way, you don\u2019t even have to worry about divvying up the ingredients in the morning, just empty the contents of the bag into the blender, add some liquid and blend! There\u2019s so many different recipes to choose from;\u00a0the girls behind Tone It Up have tons of smoothie recipe\u00a0inspiration (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toneitup.com\/recipe\/3-bikini-smoothies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>) to keep you satisfied all morning.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"_f95g7\" data-reactid=\".8.1.0.0.0.1\"><\/h3>\n<h3 class=\"_f95g7\" data-reactid=\".8.1.0.0.0.1\">8. A Salad (WAIT WHAT??)<\/h3>\n<p>Who says you can\u2019t eat lunch for breakfast? Why not mix it up? Make sure to use some avocado or chickpeas for healthy fats that will keep you full until noon. Throw in some flavorful berries and crunchy nuts to round it all out.<\/p>\n<h3>9. Tofu Scramble<\/h3>\n<p>Swap the eggs for tofu. Simple.
