In fact, it was so nasty, that the drink was used as a man\u2019s rite of passage into adulthood in South America.<\/p>\n<p>Authentic Mexican hot cocoa is thinner than most other recipes and is perfect for those looking for a hot chocolate recipe that isn\u2019t so heavy and rich.
