Everyone has pet peeves, those little things that we just can’t help but complain about. They grind you gears, get on your nerves, make you cringe so hard you want to cry. But there are certain pet peeves people have in common. A mutual pet peeve. You might not realise it, but some of those little things that annoy you annoy others too. You’re not alone. Here are 10 pet peeves everyone has to complain about.<\/p>\n
Now this is a pet peeve that everyone can get on board with. Slow internet. You know how it goes you’re sitting there trying to watch something on Netflix and it just won’t load, that little wheel is stuck at 99% and just keeps on turning. Or, the internet decides to move at snail speed when you have a tight deadline and need it the most. A big pet peeve for everyone with WiFi.<\/p>\n
<\/span><\/p>\n TV ads really are something else, a huge pet peeve. You’re into your show, it’s just getting good, and there you have it, an ad break that’s going to be at least 3, if not 5 minutes long. And don’t even get us started on the 30 minutes of ads and trailers at the cinema.<\/p>\n No, queuing is simply a way of life. You have to queue for just about everything, and it’s the only way to make things fair. But that doesn’t stop it from being a pet peeve, that sinking sad feeling you get when you get to where you need to be and see a huge queue between you and the thing you want most.<\/p>\n You’ll probably notice this pet peeve the most if you live with other people. Be it family, friends or a partner, someone not cleaning up after themselves is sooooooo annoying. Especially if you’ve just cleaned\/tidied or come home from a long day at work and you walk in to a mess. It’s enough to bring tears to your eyes.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Okay, often it’s not the fault of the individual that they’re a loud breather, and we’re probably horrible for saying it, but it is a pet peeve and it’s annoying. When you’re trying to watch a movie and the person sitting next to you is breathing as loud as the winds that took away Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. You just want them to shhhhhh.<\/p>\n Now, not many people have a legitimate excuse for chewing with their mouth open. More or less everyone is taught as a child to close your mouth while you’re eating. So, unless you’re 2 years old or have medical condition, just don’t do it. We can see you’re food on your plate, it looks great. We don’t need to see if all mushed up inside your mouth. It’s a pet peeve that so many people can relate to.<\/p>\n A huge pet peeve for anyone who shares shampoo with another person is getting into the shower to wash your hair, you go to grab the shampoo bottle and it’s empty. No one informed you of the bottles lack of product, but here you are, shampoo-less. Unable to wash your hair in this time you’ve set aside to do it.<\/p>\n Unnecessary noise in the mornings is a pet peeve for a lot of people. You’re having a great sleep and you’re suddenly rudely awoken by a horrible loud noise. You just want to strangle whatever insensitive human is making the noise, and go back to sleep.<\/p>\n People who say “no offence” before saying something horrible are so annoying. Just because you’ve said “no offence”, it does not mean that what you’re about to say isn’t offensive or won’t be taken as offence. If it’s mean, then that’s how I’m going to take it. Huge pet peeve.<\/p>\n Man spreading. Huge pet peeve, especially on public transport. There is clearly more than enough room for the both of us, but you’re sitting there with your legs wide open, whilst I’m smushed into the corner.
