Whichever it may be (there&#8217;s no need to disclose) here are a couple of my personal favourite\u00a0easy recipes for students to rustle up at the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<h2>Chicken Fajitas<\/h2>\n<p><em>Great to share with friends or devour by yourself. And most importantly, can be made in one pan. Its an easy win-win.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook Time:<\/strong> 35min<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> \u00a03<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you&#8217;ll need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>\u00a0 Fajita kit: includes the tortillas, some salsa and the chicken&#8217;s marinade<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 2 large chicken breasts, finely sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 red onion, finely sliced<\/li>\n<li>1 red pepper, sliced<\/li>\n<li>Grated cheese<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>Heat oven to 200C\/180C fan\/gas 6 and wrap 6 medium tortillas in foil.<\/li>\n<li>Stir the sliced the chicken breasts into the pre-made marinade<\/li>\n<li>Throw the chicken, onion, peppers and chili (if you so please) into a heated pan<\/li>\n<li>Keep everything moving over high heat for about 5 mins<\/li>\n<li>To check the chicken is cooked, find the thickest part and tear in half \u2013 if any part is still raw cook until done.<\/li>\n<li>Put the tortillas in the oven to heat up and serve with the cooked chicken, salsa and cheese.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left\">Spaghetti Bolognese<\/h2>\n<p><em>An easy homemade hearty meal that will remind you of home &#8211; and how much you miss your mums cooking.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook Time:<\/strong> 40min <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200g of spaghetti (or just throw in as much as you please &#8211; who cares?)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 diced onion<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A bottle of tomato pasta sauce<\/li>\n<li>100g of beef mince<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Cheese (of course)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and once hot add the beef mince and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook the mince until brown then transfer the mince to a bowl and set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Add another tablespoon of oil to the saucepan and fry onions for 5 minutes until soft. Add the mince to the onions.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Add the tomato sauce to the pan and stir well to mix.<\/li>\n<li>When ready to cook the spaghetti, heat a large saucepan of water and add a pinch of salt. Cook according to the packet instructions. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain and add to the pan with the bolognese sauce. Mix well and serve with grated cheese.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<h2>Hamburger and Chips<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Like Macdonalds, but homemade, healthier and cheaper.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook Time:<\/strong> 20min<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 Toasted burger buns<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 Beef Burgers<\/li>\n<li>1 Tomato, sliced<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 Salad bags<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>And as many chips as you so desire.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Follow the packet instructions to bake your chips.<\/li>\n<li>Halfway through the cooking time, heat the oil in a large frying pan. Fry the burgers on medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until brown all over.<\/li>\n<li>Serve in the toasted burger buns with the sliced tomato, some salad bag and any other optional toppings, chips and sauces.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left\">Bacon Mac \u2019n\u2019 Cheese<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><em>Bacon, pasta AND cheese. Need I say any more?<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Cook Time:<\/strong> 30mins<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 1<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left\">\n<li>2 slices of chopped bacon<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>100g of macaroni<\/li>\n<li>75ml of double cream<br \/>\n50g of grated cheese (mature cheddar is best)<\/li>\n<li>1tsp of mustard<\/li>\n<li>1tsp of pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Method:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Heat oven to 200C\/180C fan\/gas 6<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Fry chopped bacon over medium heat<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil and cook the pasta following pack instruction Drain, and keep aside for later<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Mix the double cream and half the cheese in a saucepan. Stir until the cheese has melted. Take the pot off the heat and add mustard and black pepper<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Pour the pasta into a baking dish and stir in the cheese sauce. Sprinkle the cooked bacon on top and then scatter over the remaining cheese<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\">Bake for 20 mins until the top is golden and bubbling<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Stir Fry Noodles<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Fit for a quick and easy post gym meal or a light lunch before class.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong> 15mins<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>150g pack of medium egg noodles<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1tbsp of oil<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 chopped carrot<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 chopped yellow pepper<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>100g of frozen peas<\/li>\n<li>2 chopped spring onions<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Soy Sauce<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Salt and pepper<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook noodles according to pack instructions<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan and stir fry the carrots, onions, peppers and peas, adding salt and pepper to taste<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Add the noodles to the stir fry vegetables and mix together with soy sauce<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<h2>Classic French Crepes<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Because who says you cant have crepes for dinner.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong> 30mins <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 4<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>125g plain flour<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 eggs<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>120ml milk<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>120ml water<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons of sugar<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1\/4 teaspoon salt<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons butter<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt, sugar and butter; beat until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Heat a lightly oiled flat griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle<\/li>\n<li>Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Turn it over and cook the other side.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Serve hot with your favourite toppings.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Bonus tip: try frying the crepes in butter &#8211;\u00a0 absolutely delicious!<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Greek Falafel and Halloumi<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Wrap<\/h2>\n<p><em>Can we just take a moment to appreciate hummus\u2026.Ok moment over.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>20mins<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 tortillas<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 sliced onion<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 chopped tomato<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>6 falafels<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>170g of halloumi<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>And a whole lotta hummus<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Cook the falafels following packet instructions.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Heat oven on 200C\/180C fan\/gas 6. Wrap tortillas in foil and place in the oven for 5 mins.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, slice halloumi and fry until golden brown.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Remove tortillas from the oven and smoother in hummus.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Place the cooked falafels on the wrap followed by the cooked halloumi. Add the tomato and onion and thats a wrap!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>*Try drizzling \u00a0greek yogurt for an extra authentic taste<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Nachos<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><em>Perfect meal for a night in. Quick and easy late night snack.<\/em><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong> 10min <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> As many or as little people as you\u2019d like<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Bag of salted nachos<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Salsa<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Grated cheese<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Sour cream<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Guacamole<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>And some chopped jalape\u00f1os , if you like it spicaaay<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat oven on 200C\/180C fan\/gas 6<\/li>\n<li>Grab a large baking tray and pour in the nachos. Sprinkle over grated cheese and place in oven for 5mins.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Add a dollop of salsa, sour cream and guacamole to the baked nachos. Finish off with a sprinkle of jalape\u00f1os<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<h2>Tuna Pasta Salad<\/h2>\n<p><em>A healthy, quick and nutritious meal, perfect to revive you the morning, or should I say afternoon, after. Nice &#8216;n&#8217; easy.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong> 30mins <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100g of pasta (penne is best)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A can of tuna<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 diced pepper<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>A tin of sweetcorn<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>100ml of mayonnaise<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Boil the pasta following packet instructions. Once cooked, drain the pasta and pour into a large mixing bowl<\/li>\n<li>Drain the tuna and sweetcorn and then add to the pasta. Add the peppers. Pour in the mayonnaise.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Mix well, add salt and pepper to taste.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Steak Sandwich<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><i>Not the cheapest meal but hey us students\u00a0deserve a treat once in a while.\u00a0Plus:\u00a0you&#8217;ll be\u00a0surprised by how quick and easy the recipe is!<\/i><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cook time:<\/strong> 10min <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves:<\/strong> 2<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 minute steaks<\/li>\n<li>Olive oil<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Brioche burger buns<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Salad bag<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Method:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Heat a little oil in a frying pan. Season both sides of the steaks with salt, then fry for 1-2 minutes on each side.<\/li>\n<li>Toast the brioche burger buns and fill with salad.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Add two steaks to each bun then finish with a drizzle of your favourite sauces.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\n<h3>BON APPETITE!
