1. Take a Walk Along the East Side Gallery<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s an open air-gallery that stretches a mile long and is located in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg part of Berlin. It was once the point of divide between East and West Berlin but it\u2019s now a colourful and cool gallery. The perfect place to get that Instagram post!<\/p>\n

2. Nightlife Like No Other<\/h2>\n

The clubs in Berlin are world famous, so it\u2019s a great opportunity for you to throw yourself into the best techno and electronic music there is! Berghain, known as the \u201ctemple of techno\u201d is the best place to experience a night like no other. Lengthy queues and intimidating bouncers are all part of your quest of acceptance into the temple of techno. If you\u2019re lucky enough to get in \u2013 they even turned away Paris Hilton – be prepared for a night, day and night again of dancing here.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, divulge in Berlin\u2019s dark but fascinating past. Visit the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe that is both astonishingly beautiful and a harrowing reminder of what Berlin has faced. Or take your pick from the hundreds of museums dotted across the city – some museums are free on particular days, perfect if you\u2019re on a budget. The Topography of Terror is also an exhibit you must visit, created to face and accept the atrocities that Berlin has witnessed in its past.<\/p>\n
