If you\u2019re anything like me, you\u2019ll now be on the hunt for the perfect accessories to turn your room into a cozy hideaway from the cold British winter coming in. These are some of the best room accessories!<\/p>\n

1. Lanterns<\/h2>\n

These lanterns can be found online or often in vintage\/antique shops so keep your eye out. If you\u2019re looking for a shabby chic look then I would recommend a white lantern with clear glass panes. However, if you\u2019re looking for a little boho accessory then have a look for the metal frames and coloured window panes. When these lanterns are alight, they\u2019ll make you\u2019re room feel warm and ready for winter.<\/p>\n

2. Pom pom thread<\/h2>\n

Often, when decorating new rooms people go straight for the fairy lights. However, hanging a string of colourful pom poms across the top of your bed or around the door frames will add a pop of colour to your room this winter. Or if you feel like a bit of DIY then pom poms can create the perfect wall hanging to fill that empty gap on your wall.<\/p>\n

3. Fleece blanket<\/h2>\n

This is both a winter necessity and ideal room accessory. There is nothing better than wrapping up in a thick fleece blanket on a cold winters evening. Or draping it over your shoulders in the morning to protect yourself from the cold outside of your bed.<\/p>\n

4. Fairy lights<\/h2>\n

Fairy lights are always going to be a winter room accessory as they add a warm glow as the evenings start to get darker. Whether you want plain white LED lights, little lanterns or even mini cactus lights, there are plenty of options to perfectly customise to your room d\u00e9cor.<\/p>\n

5. Wall hanging<\/h2>\n

A wall hanging brightens up that plain wall in your room while making the perfect accessory this winter. With so many options, wall hangings can perfectly accentuate the tone of your room and personality. The most common wall hangings are mandala patterns that come in all different colours, however there are plenty of other designs too if these don\u2019t take your fancy.<\/p>\n

6. Potted plants<\/h2>\n

Having a few potted plants will make your room feel fresh and homely this winter. However, if you feel you won\u2019t have time to look after them, then invest in a sturdy cactus. And if you don\u2019t even have faith in keeping a cactus alive then get some fake flowers to brighten up your desk. No one will know!<\/p>\n

7. Hanging photos<\/h2>\n

This DIY accessory is perfect for any photo lover who isn\u2019t sure where to put all their pictures. Simply drape some string across the wall and attach the photos using little pegs or blu-tack. If you already have fairy lights or pom poms up, then why not make the most of them too and peg your photos onto their thread.<\/p>\n

8.\u00a0Dream catcher<\/h2>\n

Dream catchers are the perfect accessory for any boho room. And whether you want a large statement wall hanging or a small dream catcher hanging from your door handle this is sure to give your room the finishing touch this winter. This is one of our favorite room accessories.<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0Vinyls<\/h2>\n

Old vinyls are a great way to decorate your room this season. Whether you use the cases to make a DIY wallpaper for your room, or invest in some cheap old discs, this is sure to make a unique accessory. Vinyls don\u2019t have to be expensive either so head down to your local charity shop and you\u2019re sure to find plenty going cheap!<\/p>\n

10. Patterned rug throw<\/h2>\n

Whether you have a wooden floor or carpet, a small patterned rug will be perfect for any room. It can add some colour as well as give your room a homely feel this winter. If you\u2019re looking for something more plain and shabby-chic then why not have a look at fluffy cream rugs which will be the perfect place to warm up your feet.<\/p>\n
