Well, let me tell you, some guys might be less drama but most of them definitely aren\u2019t. I have been lucky enough to have found the most amazing friends at university and most of them happen to be boys and let me tell you, I have learnt a lot from being friends with boys.<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0There are always people assuming you\u2019re dating one of them<\/h2>\n

I wish there was a template that you could read out to people who question your friendship and are convinced there\u2019s more happening between you. Why do some people not understand the possibility of men and women being friends?<\/p>\n

2. …or at least sleeping with one of them<\/h2>\n

Hahahahahaha\u2026 no. This is one of the perks of being\u00a0friends with boys.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0<\/span>They\u2019re much more understanding than you\u2019d think<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s kind of amazing to have close guy friends, as they will tell you their honest opinion on the guy you\u2019re dating. However, in terms of actual relationship advice, they\u2019re absolutely useless, as the general reply seems to be: Fuck him!<\/p>\n

4. Guys seem to be scared of your guy-friends<\/h2>\n

I\u2019ve been in so many situations where other guys I knew got really intimidated when they found out I hang out with my guy friends a lot. I don\u2019t know whether that\u2019s because they\u2019re insecure themselves or they simply don\u2019t understand the whole friendship concept. This is another perk of being\u00a0friends with boys.<\/p>\n

5. They don\u2019t really talk about their feelings<\/h2>\n

Don\u2019t get me wrong, some do, but the majority I know swallow all their feelings and get weird when you ask them. For girls, it\u2019s a normality to talk about your feelings and no one judges, but guys just don\u2019t seem to do that really.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

6. They\u2019re children<\/h2>\n

Literally 8 year old’s stuck in adult bodies.<\/p>\n

7. They\u2019re unbearable when they\u2019re drunk<\/h2>\n

Jumping on cars, trying to start fights out of nowhere and punching holes in walls. That seems to be a normal Friday night with the lads. Better get used to it.<\/p>\n

8. They see you as one of them<\/h2>\n

When you\u2019re the only girl in a guy group, chances are they don\u2019t even see you as a girl anymore\u2026 the same way you don\u2019t see them as guys. Being\u00a0friends with boys will have this side effect.<\/p>\n

9. Girls tend to think you don\u2019t like hanging out with girls<\/h2>\n

Which absolutely isn\u2019t the case. I\u2019ve got many girlfriends, as well as guy friends. I\u2019ve realised that most of the time the girls, who give you grief because of who you\u2019re friends with, are just jealous.<\/p>\n

10. At the end of the day, it doesn\u2019t matter who you\u2019re friends with, as long you support and\u00a0 <\/span>respect each other.<\/h2>\n
