Ahh, the pain of being a girl. I think we all know the pain and awkwardness that go hand and hand when going for your first bikini wax, and although it’s not\u00a0necessary<\/em>, sometimes you just want a stubble-free bikini line, you know? Whether you’re a beginner or a total pro at waxing, here’s a few thoughts that have probably gone through your mind when getting your first bikini wax.<\/p>\n

1. Is it too late to back out?<\/h2>\n

The feeling of regret sinks in as soon as you get to the waxing salon. Maybe I don’t really need this wax after all? I’m sure it can wait.<\/p>\n

2. I hope she doesn’t judge my underwear…<\/h2>\n

I mean, I wanted to be comfortable right?\u00a0But I totally can’t shake the feeling that the waxer is judging my underwear choice right now.<\/p>\n

3. No I definitely don’t want a Brazilian wax<\/h2>\n

Why do they always try to sell this to you last minute?? Why??<\/p>\n

4. Is it fine to make small-talk right now?<\/h2>\n

Anything to diffuse the awkwardness\u00a0as I undress for this wax! What do I even talk about? Do I even tell her why I’m getting a wax?<\/p>\n

5. Please don’t judge the amount of hair on my body right now<\/h2>\n

Okay, so I’ve missed a couple of sessions — not like I was heading to the beach any time soon. But they always say you should grow your hair out to a good length before a wax, right?<\/p>\n

6. Let’s just get this over with<\/h2>\n

Okay, enough stalling. Let’s do this! I’m ready for you.<\/p>\n

7. I don’t know who I hate more, me or you<\/h2>\n

Nevermind, I change my mind. Waxing is pure torture. Who even thought this was necessary? Let’s just hope it gets less painful as it goes…<\/p>\n

8. Okay, I think I’m numb to the pain now<\/h2>\n

I don’t know if it’s getting easier or if I’ve just lost all feeling down there.<\/p>\n

9. IS IT OVER YET!?<\/h2>\n

Why is this taking forever?? Isn’t the bikini line quite a small area? Do you really have to prolong the torture? For my first bikini wax- this really isn’t fun.<\/p>\n

10. Bring on the cooling gel!<\/h2>\n

Ahh the sweet feeling of freedom. Bring on more of that cooling gel — I want it all.<\/p>\n

11. Ooh, so smooth<\/h2>\n

Okay, I like it! I guess it was all worth it? For a first bikini wax, is this worth all the hype?<\/p>\n

12. I probably won’t be back any time soon…<\/h2>\n

How long can I wait until I have to go back? Seriously though, I’m not ready to go through this again.<\/p>\n
