1. Its a Four-Step Process!<\/h2>\n

If you’re in a rush or going to be using this mascara as part of your every day look the lengthy process may not be for you. First of all, you have to use your own mascara to begin with (this seems strange to me as the point of buying a mascara is to replace an old one). You then apply their gel mascara, followed by their fibre mascara for the first layer and then repeat for another layer for those promised “extreme eyelashes”.<\/p>\n

2. The Fibres Can Fall Onto Your Face<\/h2>\n

Sounds trivial but at 7am having the fibres from the mascara falling into your eyes and on to your face is not what you need – it’s painful and you have to use a make up wipe or extra concealer to remove the remains from your cheeks! I usually leave my face make up till last when using the Younique mascara to avoid the messy down drop.<\/p>\n

3. Cost<\/h2>\n

NO, it doesn’t come off easily. In fact, even a simple eye makeup remover alone doesn’t take it off. You will need to use a combination of make up wipes, cleanser and eye makeup remover combined with an abundance of\u00a0 time and patience to finally remove the stuff. I’ve found the Body Shop Camomile Gentle Eye Makeup Remover<\/a> for just \u00a33 is great to use to take off this mascara – it’s non oily and doesn’t sting your eyes!<\/p>\n

5. Clumps<\/h2>\n

Although the brand claims their mascara helps you achieve natural looking with no clumps. The many layers involved in the Younique process can create clumps. You will need an eyelash seperator to remove these or if you’re extra talented with your lashes you can use a safety pin.<\/p>\n
