Up in Scotland (well, Glasgow at least), we\u2019ve been experiencing what I refer to as a heat wave, what my friends who grew up in vastly warmer countries call spring. In any case, it\u2019s hot, I love it, it\u2019s great. I\u2019m out in shorts and t-shirts and it\u2019s the best thing ever. Only problem being that all I normally drink are hot drinks \u2013 with this in mind, I\u2019ve compiled a list of inspiration for some great, healthy summer drinks:<\/p>\n<h2>1. Peach and Saffron Iced Tea<\/h2>\n<p>This one of the more exotic healthy summer drinks. It tastes of honey, vanilla, peaches, basil, and saffron \u2013 as well as being good for your skin, thanks to the roiboos tea and saffron!<\/p>\n<p>Recipe <a href=\"https:\/\/ciaoflorentina.com\/healthy-skin-iced-saffron-tea-recipe-with-peach-and-basil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h6 style=\"text-align: center\">\n<\/h6>\n<h2>2. Peach and Herb Infused Water<\/h2>\n<p>If you struggle getting in your 8 glasses a day, or just want something a bit tastier, then infused waters are for you. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.healthygreenkitchen.com\/peach-infused-water-and-thoughts-on-proper-hydration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This one<\/a> has peach and lots of tasty herbs, like basil and lemon balm \u2013 although you\u2019re free to customise this yourself. Basil, mint, and rosemary would work well!<\/p>\n<h2>3. A knock-off Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher<\/h2>\n<p>The thing with Starbucks is that it is very expensive for what it is. Luckily, Rebecca from FoodieWithFamily has come up with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodiewithfamily.com\/very-berry-hibiscus-refresher-clone-starbucks-knockoff-and-a-giveaway-make-ahead-monday\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recipe<\/a> for making this at home. The green coffee bean extract (sounds complicated, is actually very easy to make) gives your metabolism a boost, too, making this healthy summer drink tasty and slimming!<\/p>\n<h2>4. Sparkling Lime Mint Quencher<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s essentially a mojito without all the alcohol and sugar, and all you need are limes, mint, seltzer water, and a sweetener of your choice. Strawberry Basil Lemonade<\/h2>\n<p>This strawberry-basil lemonade has absolutely no added sugar, and is a tasty, refreshing, healthy summer drink! Caribbean-inspired Mango, Passion Fruit, and Coconut Lassi<\/h2>\n<p>This summer drink is healthy and filling, as well as being really easy to make! Shikanji \u2013 Indian Masala Lemonade<\/h2>\n<p>Mix up your lemonade game with this refreshing, tasty, healthy summer drink. It has an abundance of lemon, which aids digestion!
