Here are tips for how to have a social life after University:<\/p>\n

1.Join a Gym Class or Sports Team<\/h2>\n

One of the best ways to meet new people is by joining a sports team or gym class. Not only will this new hobby help you get in shape, but it\u2019s a great way to socialise with people away from work. Team sports are particularly good for bonding with a new group of friends.<\/p>\n

2.Volunteer with a Charity<\/h2>\n

Another way to meet new and like-minded people is by volunteering. Places you could volunteer include Scouts and Girlguiding, at animal rescue centres and working with homeless people. Not only is volunteering easy to start and a great place to meet new people, but it is also a great way to give back to your local community.<\/p>\n

3.Make friend with your Work Colleagues<\/h2>\n

9.Make Yourself Available<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s no point in trying to make a load of friends if you don\u2019t have any time to spend with them, so make sure you\u2019re giving yourself a break and have time to have social life. Take evenings off and treat yourself on weekends. Life isn\u2019t all about work so make sure your looking after yourself and hanging out with people who make you happy.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking to make new friends, it\u2019s important to be confident in yourself and believe in who you are. Be brave enough to go up to people and talk to them and show off what a great person you are.
