You wouldn\u2019t think that in 2018 that there is still a need for change, but with huge brands like Victoria Secret, that only promote one body shape and photo shop their images, there\u2019s still a long way to go. However, there is hope! This is a selection of body positive lingerie brands that every woman should support, so that we can make a change within fashion.<\/p>\n

Lonely Lingerie<\/a><\/h2>\n

This lingerie brand is designed \u201cFor women who wear lingerie as a love letter to themselves\u201d, and is a design house focused on celebrating the strength and individuality of women. Moving away from the conventional fashion marketing techniques, Lonely promotes it\u2019s lingerie through the Lonely Girls Project, where women from all over the world are photographed wearing Lonely, how they want to wear it.<\/p>\n

Me and You<\/a><\/h2>\n

Now this brand has expanded into clothing as well as just lingerie, but this is the place to go for your comfortable feminist underwear. When the brand first launched in 2015, their cotton underpants with \u2018feminist\u2019 printed across the rear sold out immediately. The designers, Julia Baylis and Mayan Toledano, are creating underwear only for women\u2019s personal gain. They told the New York Times \u201cMost lingerie is designed to appeal to a man\u2026for us, that\u2019s not even a consideration. This is underwear you wear totally for you. Maybe no one will see it, or maybe you\u2019ll put it up on Instagram to share with everyone you know.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neon Moon Lingerie<\/a><\/h2>\n

This brand of lingerie prides itself on trying to bring body positivity into the mainstream. It embraces women\u2019s cellulite, stretch marks and freckles and aims to represent the real life woman while spreading a message of acceptance and empowerment. They even have a section on their website where customers can upload selfies of themselves wearing the lingerie, showing that this brand is actually empowering women through their lingerie.<\/p>\n

Nubian Skin<\/a><\/h2>\n

This brand of lingerie was created when Ade Hassan wasn\u2019t able to find the right nude underwear that matched her skin tone.
