Earrings as such an easy, simple way to jazz up any outfit \u2013 they literally work with anything, <\/em>and you can take some with you in the morning to take any outfit from day to night. A plain black culottes\/turtle neck outfit? Pop statement earrings on. White summer dress? Earrings. Shirt and jeans? Earrings. Vintage statement earrings have been everywhere for the past few seasons, and they\u2019re only getting bigger! Weirdly, and somewhat paradoxically, there\u2019s a definite modern feel to them, too. So, we\u2019ve compiled some of our favourite vintage\/retro earrings for when you really want to make a statement with your look. The metal ones will work well for a classier, sleeker look, and all those bright colours will definitely make any outfit pop.<\/p>\n

Bright Plastic<\/a><\/h2>\n

These Monki earrings remind me of a Matisse cutout, and the bright plastic is reminiscent of the 80’s (like, the really, really, retro 80’s). These are perfect for summer, too!<\/p>\n

Silver Discs<\/a><\/h2>\n

This pair (also from Monki) is a bit more subtle (in that they’re silver instead of neon) \u2013 the disc drop earrings are like something out of the 70s, adding a\u00a0statement retro twist to your outfit:<\/p>\n

Subtle Statement 70’s<\/a><\/h2>\n

\u2018Subtle\u2019 is probably the wrong word to use, tbh. These Zara earrings are pretty big, but with fewer bells and whistles than most earrings we\u2019re seeing this season. The gold\u2019ll offset a tan nicely, too.<\/p>\n

Retro Drop<\/a><\/h2>\n

I love this retro Zara pair \u2013 the muted colour means that they\u2019ll carry well into autumn and winter, too.<\/p>\n
