Often, high street’s makeup consists of orangey-based tones, however we\u00a0olive skin\u2019sters carry a more yellow hue to our skin \u2013 meaning that these high street options make us look more like oompa loompas\u00a0rather than golden goddesses. Finally, I have come up with a few makeup staples specifically ideal for olive skin tones that don\u2019t break the bank and rival any options offered by the high street. Below is some of the best makeup for olive skin!<\/p>\n

1) Face:\u00a0EX1 Foundation<\/a><\/h2>\n

Without a doubt, this is 100% the best foundation that I have ever come across. Quite often you hear about foundations that \u2018look like your skin\u2019, yet\u00a0when you actually try them on, they\u2019re as cakey as ever! This is different. This makeup was specifically designed for all of us with olive skin that struggle to find the perfect shade. The founder herself \u2013 Farah Naz struggled for ages (like us) to find the right foundation, and her solution was to create one for all of us to enjoy! If you’re someone who still hasn\u2019t found the foundation for you\u2026 give this a try \u2013 you won\u2019t be disappointed.<\/p>\n

So this one isn\u2019t just for those with olive coloured flesh. But it’s definitely a MUST for all of us whether you\u2019re a makeup fanatic or someone who just applies on special occasions. It’s great for the under eye area \u2013 it doesn\u2019t crease, great coverage but it can also be used in many other ways. Quite often I use it as a highlighter during my contour routine and can honestly say it does a great job and is very blendable.<\/p>\n

3) Colour corrector:\u00a0L.A. Girl<\/a><\/h2>\n

Those with more of a tan\u00a0skin tone are more likely to show signs of pigmentation \u2013 so we need all the help we can get. Although I don\u2019t do this every day, on days where I need fuller coverage, colour correction before concealing is the way to go!\u00a0 I would recommend L.A GIRL Pro Conceal HD Orange corrector. The idea behind it is that it adds warmth back into areas that may have become a bit darker \u2013 great for covering up eye circles and provides a more natural finish than your usual light concealer.<\/p>\n
