Do you know about weird beauty treatments celebrities swear by? Find out which celebrities are using the strangest beauty treatments !

If there’s one thing we all know about celebs, it’s that they always look their best – no blemishes or pimples mar their glowing skin. But how do they do it? Well, here’s just a short list of all the weird beauty treatments celebs swear by for that perfect look.

1. Victoria Beckham – Nightingale Dropping Facials

When you think about glowing skin, bird poo isn’t exactly the first thing that springs to mind. However, Posh Spice herself swears by them. Nightingale Facials, as they are known as, use sanitised, dehydrated nightingale droppings that are round up then mixed with warm water, which forms a paste. The paste is then applied directly to the skin. The droppings are said to be high in guanine, which brightens the skin, and urea, which locks in moisture. This whole process is apparently anti-aging, too, and if you look at Posh nowadays, you have to admit that it must be working.

2.  Sandra Bullock – Hemorrhoid Cream To Reduce Wrinkles

This beauty treatment has been used by beauty queens for years, and one has to wonder if Sandy B picked up this tip whilst she was working on Miss Congeniality. The treatment involves taking a dab of Preparation H and rubbing it on the under eye area to reduce puffiness and wrinkles. Hey, if this treatment is endorsed by both Sandra Bullock and scores of Miss America candidates, I guess it must be good.

3. Halle Berry – Coffee To Exfoliate

Halle Berry apparently adds coffee ground to her body wash to help exfoliate her body. The caffeine in the coffee also helps tighten skin and promote circulation, as well as being biodegradable and a natural alternative to microbeads. Halle’s skin always has a gorgeous glow, so this little trick must work.

4. Cate Blanchette – Foreskin Facial

Yes, you did read that right – Cate Blanchette swears by one of the weird beauty treatments that harvests the stem cells from the foreskin of Korean baby boys. The stem cells contain Epidermal Growth Hormone, and this is made into a serum that is micro-needled into the skin. This serum then generates collagen, which helps the your skin looking bright and stops it from showing signs of aging.

5. Blake Lively – Mayonnaise Hair Care

Blake Lively uses a tip that she learned from her mother to keep her hair looking soft and shiny. When she showers, she coats the lower half of her hair in oil or mayonnaise which means that when she showers, the soap from the shampoo doesn’t strip the bottom of the hair, meaning it doesn’t dry it out and leave it brittle. A bit of a strange tip, but if it keeps Blake’s locks looking as lovely as they do, I won’t knock it too much.

6. Catherine Zeta-Jones – Strawberries For Tooth-Whitening

Everybody loves strawberries as a sweet treat with cream, but Zeta Jones prefers to just rub them on her teeth rather than eat them. The juice and pulp of strawberries contains malic acid, which acts as an astringent and can help to lighten stains on the surface of teeth. She only uses this treatment once a week, as the sugar in the berries could promote tooth decay. Honestly, I’d prefer to just eat my strawberries, but if it keeps Catherine Zeta-Jones’ gnashers looking as great as they do, then there must be some good in it.

7. Selena Gomez – Sweat Bed body Treatment

One of Selena Gomez’s weird beauty treatments involves her getting all wrapped up and laying in a sweat bed for 45 minutes. The sweat bed claims to remove toxins in the body by using FAR infared energy to warm to core body temperature and promote sweating. This perspiration improves the texture, tone and overall appearance of the skin as well as firming and slimming the body and promoting good sleep. I don’t know if I’d fancy lying in my own sweat for almost an hour, but Selena Gomez does look incredible, so maybe there’s more to it than meets the eye.

8. Hailey Baldwin – Blood Moisturiser

One of the weird beauty treatments we can’t ignore is the blood moisturiser Hailey Baldwin swears by. Hailey Baldwin using a moisturiser made by Dr Barbara Sturm, where blood is extracted from the patients arm then put through a centrifuge to separate the white blood cells and plasma, which are then added to a cream called MC1 Blood Moisturiser. Dr Sturm says that the platelets in our blood can reprogram our skin and therefore fight off signs of aging. Whilst Hailey’s skin does look incredible, this treatment also costs $1,000 a pop so honestly, I’d rather stick to over-the-counter anti-wrinkle creams, even if they don’t contain skin-reprogramming platelets.

9. Kate Middleton – Bee Venom Face Mask

Before she married Prince William, Kate Middleton reportedly used a face mask containing bee venom. Bee venom is apparently a non-invasive alternative to Botox, as it firms, lifts and promotes anti-aging of the skin without using needles and having the commitment that a medical procedure does. Seeing how gorgeous Kate looked on her wedding day, bee venom certainly does seem to give the skin a little extra boost.

10. Ashley Graham – Windex To Fix Fake Tan

Ashley Graham showed off her DIY fake-tan hack on Instagram recently, which involved her spraying some Windex on a piece of kitchen roll and scrubbing at her body until her fake tan lines evened out. Although this trick undoubtedly works, Windex contains harsh ingredients ammonium hydroxide that can cause severe skin irritation that can lead in infection, potential scarring and hyperpigmentation. So, it’s probably better to just stick with an exfoliator when you’re streaky, because whilst Windex is great for streaky windows and surfaces, it’s not so great for the skin.
