Following the trajectory of today’s Disney films, Aladdin is a live-action remake of the famous 1992 animated film. Like the original, this family movie centres around the adventures of street-rat Aladdin as he encounters the wise-cracking Genie (played by Will Smith) and the villainous Jafar, while falling in love with the princess Jasmine.
