1. Alghero, Sardinia

The small town in northwestern Sardinia offers everything the perfect holiday needs: beautiful beaches with a crystal-clear blue sea and a cute little town with beautiful Architecture. Start off the day with a visit to the iconic San Giovanni beach and end it with a stroll to the Cattedrale di Santa Maria to see the famous bell tower.

I’m sure you’ve heard of Munich and the infamous Oktoberfest, however, I’m sure Augsburg isn’t on your radar yet. Only a 40 minute train ride from Munich, Augsburg offers beautiful sights, such as the town hall and the cathedrals, a vibrant night life and loads of festivals.

With temperatures being on average of over 30 degrees at the moment in the UK, Brighton might be the easiest little getaway. It’s not only of the trendiest cities in the UK, its also got a nice beach with a pretty pier.

Visit Krakow during the colder months to experience a truly beautiful winter wonderland. Whether it’s drinking mulled wine at the Christmas market at the old town square or ice skating at one of the ice rinks in the old town, Krakow is truly magnificent during winter.

This little town in southwestern Scotland is a short drive from Glasgow and offers magnificent sights, such as the Dean Castle, which is over 700 years old. Since the town is in the Scottish countryside, there are some breathtaking views perfect for the gram!

The Faroe Islands look like something out of a Lord of the Rings movie, but other than middle earth, it’s a Danish island situated in the North Atlantic ocean between Denmark and Greenland. 11. Nazare, Portugal

You might have heard of this little Portuguese town recently due to surfer, Garrett Mc  Namara, breaking the world record and riding a 111ft wave. This location is aimed at adrenaline-junkies and hobby-surfers and has so many amazing beaches to offer… and if you’re not into water-sports, you can just spend the day going dolphin-watching.
