I’m a little biased on this one as it’s one of my own playlists, but this playlist is made up of super upbeat tunes from a variety of decades that are designed to get you into that positive mental attitude. This playlist isn’t just great to help you get into the working mood, but it’ll help save you from those stress breakdowns too – it’s saved me many times throughout my second year at uni!
4. power productivity by Eve Cornwell
You might recognise Eve as one of the great British studytubers, so if anyone knows anything about keeping motivated it’s definitely Eve. She’s got some great playlists on Spotify, but her ‘power productivity’ playlist is by far the most motivating. Think Fifth Harmony, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Cardi B, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj – all the best people to create a killer upbeat playlist.
5. Morning Motivation by Spotify
If you’re looking for a playlist to motivate you to get out of bed and get ready for a day of studying, this playlist is a great one. With a really great mixture of newer and older tunes, it’s got something for everyone and is sure to get your day off to a positive start.

Jam packed full of upbeat, positive pop hits, this playlist will have you up and moving in no time. As promised in the description, the playlist is sure to ‘turn that frown upside down’! If pop classics are your thing, this is definitely the playlist for you. With motivational tunes such as Pharrell’s Happy, JT’s Can’t Stop The Feeling, and Lily Allen’s Smile, this playlist is a great soundtrack for your essay writing – it will definitely help prevent you from getting too stressed out!
