Red wine is made from grapes, and it’s a different type of grape you find in the grocery store. It’s normally smaller, sweeter, has thicker skin and contains seeds. There are so many wine grapes varieties, but the common among red wine is that during the fermentation process, the skin is still left on to create the red color.

White wine is also made from grape, but without the skin, if the winemaker makes it from the red grape, or they can use white grape as well. An interesting fact is that the more expensive white wines are aged in oak barrels instead of oak chips.

If you have tried rose wine, you might be wonder how can they have the color pink, here is why. The rose or blush wine is also made from a red grape with the skin on, but the skin is only left for a short amount of time.

Champagne is the bubbly type of wine which was originally from France. This can also be known as sparkling wine. The champagne making process requires a high technique and time in order to make a perfect taste.
