The Ultimate University Bucket List

Having a university bucket list can make your entire uni experience so much better. Here are some things you need to do before graduation!

If you are off to University, you may be feeling both nervous and excited. You may be moving away from home to a new city you have never visited before. In a way, it is your first steps into adult-hood. This may feel daunting to be a self-functioning adult, but just remember all of your fellow course mates and hall mates are in the exact same position. Therefore, you will learn together. Going to university will be one of the most memorable times of your life. You will make friends for life, try things you have never done before and most certainly make a second home out of the city you study in. Having a flat party:

Now you are at university, you have a space to call your own with fellow university students. In effect, this gives you the freedom to do whatever you would like within reason. An absolute must is to throw your own party. It could even be themed such as fancy dress, you can invite friends from home, course mates and other people you know in your building. This is a great chance to get to know new people, play games and save money from going to a club, it’s a win-win situation!

Pranking your flat mate:

Now, once your next-door neighbour becomes your bestie it is typical university culture to play a harmless prank on them. Not only is it a laugh for all involved, it will probably set of a prank rivalry between you and your friends! You could cover someone’s room in Balloons for instance. Just remember to never take it too far and always be sensible and friendly, it will be memories you never forget. Be sure to put this on your university bucket list!


Pulling an all-nighter:

When you go to university, your sleep schedule will most probably be all over the place. You will no longer go to sleep by 11pm and up at 7am. Nights turn into days at university, so pulling an all nighter to study, or probably party should be something you’ve said you have done!

A crazy bar crawl:

With an abundance of clubs available in your city, it is a great chance to pull all of your friends together and do a club crawl. You could all wear fancy dress or have a drink in each bar. This is great fun and mean’s you go to all of the great party places your city has on offer.

Join a society:

If you have a well-loved hobby or just want to try something new, it is likely your university has an array of society’s on offer for you to join. It is the perfect place to meet a new set of friends and do something you love. Joining a society is a special university experience you won’t have again!

Road trip with your mates:

Being in a new city, there is so much to see and do, especially if you visit neighbouring towns. So, pick a day and grab your friends, it will be memories you will never forget. If you have a designated driver, great. If not, hop on a train or bus for some lunch or a spot of shopping! This is definitely something to have on your university bucket list!

Tasty takeaways:

At some point you will be potentially hungover and have no food in perhaps. Therefore, a takeaway is your only option! Or, that’s what you tell yourself. Being at university is the time to try an array of new foods, potentially for the first time. At university you have solo control over providing all of your food and meals. So, go all out and eat whatever your heart desires!
