The Ultimate London City Guide For The Best Experience

London is a huge city full of a wide variety of different opportunities. In order to get the most out of your visit to London, you want to know where the best places to go and eat are, and the best places to go and visit to have a good time. There are plenty of landmarks you’ll want to cross off, but you can’t do them all in one day! You’ll want to manage your time properly in order to get the best experience and the most out of it. Here’s the not so official London city guide for you to follow!

Time Management

You can’t travel all across London and get the best experience in one day, so organise yourself and your time. Sort out the places you want to visit the most first and prioritise them. Once you’ve visited and had the best possible experience at one place, then you can travel to others.

Travel

Travelling around London can be pretty complicated if you don’t know which lines take you where. The best way to get around London as someone relatively new to the place is to get on a tour bus which will give you a rough idea of the city and the tour guide will point out landmarks to you and let you know some information about them which will aid you in your learning of London. Get hold of a tube map and an Oyster card and ask for directions, there are plenty of people who will be happy to point you in the right direction.

Landmarks

You’ll want to cover all the landmarks such as seeing the London Eye, Big Ben, maybe the London Dungeons and other places and spaces such as the O2 Arena which is well known for the events held there and the restaurants. If you get a Merlin Annual Pass you can get discounts on all of these places plus much more, if you plan to get the ultimate and best experience out of London then I highly recommend it. It will give you access to places like Sea Life and Madam Tussauds.

Food

You’ll want to get the most of your dining out in London. The O2 Arena is a great place to go for food as you have a variety of different options there depending on what you’re feeling to eat.  There are also options like looking on TimeOut London and checking out whats recommended.

Drinks

When the evening comes you may want to go for drinks and enjoy the company of the people who you have traveled with. Shoreditch is the best place to go for this. Shoreditch is laced with all different types of bars and food for all occasions. One of the most multi-cultural areas of London, rich with vibrant arty energy. This is definitely one of the best places on the London city guide!
