Be Kind Rewind

Be Kind Rewind, starring Jack Black and Yasiin Bey, is a comedy about two store clerks who erase all the videos from their local movie rental store. They then have to re shoot every single video in the store in order for it to stay afloat.


Little Miss Sunshine

Little Miss Sunshine is one of our favourite quirky films that will inspire you because it’s such a weird yet wonderful film about family, love and what it means to be yourself. Starring Greg Kinnear, Toni Collette, Steve Carell and more, this film’s cast will have you laughing and crying along with them. The hoover family decide to help their daughter (Abigail Breslin) to win the Little Miss Sunshine contest. By doing this, they have to take a suicidal uncle, an annoying grandfather and a grumpy teen along for the ride. Their sanity is stretched to the limit with finding out truths and trying to get to the contest on time despite having a dead body in the boot.

The Fundamentals Of Caring

The Fundamentals of Caring is on our list of quirky films to watch that will inspire you because it sends a message about friendship and love. Starring Paul Rudd, a writer who becomes a caregiver, agrees to embark on a journey with disabled Trevor (played by Craig Roberts) that will change both their perspectives on life. Selena Gomez is also in the film, starring as Dot, a girl who comes along for the ride. Their patience and ability is tested as they realise the importance of hope and friendship.

Baby Driver

With the help of a professor, played by Dustin Hoffman, Will Ferrall tries to find the writer and plead with her to change her mind about the story she’s writing. Queen Latifah also stars in this funny yet heartbreaking film as a book company employee who is supposed to encourage Emma Thompson to keep writing.
