Quick And Easy Hairstyles For University

Looking and feeling god when you go to a University seminar or lecture is a must for those who want to impress. Some days you may not feel like making yourself look good as you will have the most vile hangover, but other days you may want to feel good about yourself and get your learn on.

You ideally need quick, easy and simple hairstyles so you can get up and go as smoothly as possible. You also want to look fabulous. Top tip: you are more likely to do well in uni if you look after yourself as this gets you in the right mindset and you are more attentive. What more do you need to practice a few of these hairstyles before the semester starts?

Half Up Half Down

This classic look will wow everyone with a little bit of backcombing. Drag the top half of your hair into a high ponytail and leave the rest of it down. This look can be achieved if your hair is straight or curled and no matter what your hair type is. If your hair is thin you might want to pop some extensions in to bulk it up a little. If your hair is naturally straight or naturally curly this will still work for you. Plus all the equipment you need is a hairband, a brush and some hairspray just to keep the loose ends at stray. You’ll be hot to trot with this look.

Low Pony Tail

Be classic and chic with this simple look. A slick low pony is so in at the moment and is a really great look for getting your hair out of your face when you are working hard. It is a great hairstyle to give some wow to an outfit or even allows you to have more focus on your outfit as it is a simple look. You can also add some accessories to the hair and dress it up a bit – these can be things like scarfs, gems or different coloured hair. It is a great look to rock in your lectures and will make you look extra intelligent.

Messy Bun

You do not need to look like Ms. Trunchbull from Matilda rocking a messy bun. The best thing is to backcomb the hell out of your hair and have so many hair grips that you aren’t searching the floor for a loose one. With these weapons in hand, you are set to create an amazing messy bun. Grab your hair in a ponytail and tie it with a hairband. Then, add random bits of hair and pin them in place with hair grips, spray with a load of hairspray and you are good to go. This may take a little bit of effort but you will sure feel ready to learn after.

Messy Pony

A high messy pony is a really great look if you aren’t very good at hair or if you want a really quick hairstyle which looks like you have put a lot of effort into it. Pre curl your hair into loose curls and run a brush through and put it in a high/mid pony. This style works with any outfit and is so simple to do. You can even pre curl your hair the night before if you are in a rush in the morning. Those 9am lectures won’t stop you looking good.

Comment below your favourite hairstyle that is quick and easy and makes you look amazing for university. Or share with someone who is about to start in the fall and make their morning rush a little easier!
