Before we get into the makeup, skincare must come first! Face oils are slowly but surely becoming a staple for many in their daily skincare routine. Face oils can help penetrate deeply into your skin to hydrate, illuminate and revive. Face oils will help to give you naturally radiant skin, which is what we all strive for on those no makeup days. Many face oils are fast absorbing so don’t be afraid to wear them underneath makeup. You will have a permanent face filter!

To many, face primers are like the glue to stick your makeup to your face. However! there are many primers on the market that can both keep your makeup on all day and provide a subtle radiance that will show through your makeup. The all-over radiance that the primer will provide will make you look as though are you lit from within. This is another product that will give you the most natural and healthy radiance. This is definitely a product you should try to achieve the glowy AF makeup look!

Swap out your powder blushes, bronzers and highlighters for cream products instead! Cream products can seem scary to many as they appear to be quite as forgiving as powder products, however, I highly recommend giving it a whirl! Using cream products tend to have better colour pay off while still looking more natural. Blending out cream products can eliminate the matte look which can often make your face look flat, cream products have all around better staying power too! There are many brands such as Nudestix that offer cream products made for all over the face. One product can be used on the face, eyes and lips. Talk about bang for your buck!

Consider changing over your staple mattifying all over face powder for an illuminating one. This is an option to achieve a glowy makeup look that many overlook. This is another great product that will achieve an even and radiant glow for all over your face as opposed to just on your cheeks bones. Dust an illuminating face powder, whether it’s pressed or loose, to set your foundation and offer a subtle radiance that will put all eyes on you!

Now the last step to achieve glowy AF makeup, setting spray! There are setting sprays available that will not only set your makeup, but will also spritz a gentle mist all over that contains a subtle shimmer. Now, this may seem daunting to some but the shimmer is minuscule. Shimmery setting sprays are a great product to hydrate and revive makeup whether it’s fresh or is in need of a freshen up throughout the day. The pearl-like finish will offer a healthy glow, I can assure you it will NOT make you look like a disco ball.
