The single biggest factor in making an instagram photo like-able is making it textured. We love to look at texture, so much so that a highly textured imagine can generate almost 80% more likes than a smoother shot (thus explaining the popularity of the brick-wall-selfie). Duck face selfies garner an eye watering 1,112% more likes than a simple smile, so it’s time to perfect that pout!
