A bucket list, of sorts, of all the things I think we should all try do before you turn 30! Some fun, some achievements and some trips! When you are about to turn 30, you need to cross all of these off the list!
To some, no big deal. To others, erm no way! Travelling is wonderful, it leads to some pretty great adventures and great memories to looks back on. However imagine going somewhere alone. Imagine having to ask a stranger to take a picture of you next to the Eiffel Tower because there’s no one else to do it for you. Imagine a whole trip where you decide where you want to go and what you want to see! You decide where to eat and who to strike up a conversation with. You get to dictate the whole trip! Try it out, witness a new culture, find out some interesting facts and just live your best life!
Before you turn 30, you definitely need to run a marathon!
Charity and giving to charity is one of the biggest blessings ever! It not only makes you feel good but can change lives for the better in the process. Find that charity that touches your heart, sponsor that child or that animal that you feel a connection with. Make a difference, it may seem small but trust me it causes a wonderful butterfly effect.
Put some of that hard earned money aside, save up and give yourself the ultimate treat. Buy that thing you’ve always had your eye on. Don’t feel guilty, you deserve it!
I have always found this one particularly interesting. Knowing where your family is from, the lives of the members of your family before you. Knowing your roots essentially. I find it amazing what people discover, not just about their family, about themselves too!
Before you turn 30, you need to buy your own first car and drive it around town!
Don’t listen to anyone who tells you that you are too young to buy a house or even go into property. If you like the sound of it then work for it and make it happen! It is in your own control and is a wonderful achievement. Definitely something worth aiming for.
Imagine the power of knowing a different language. Imagine travelling somewhere new and being able to understand the conversations around you and being able to read off the menu. What language do you find most beautiful or interesting? Learn it! Don’t limit yourself.
Christmas is definitely the cosiest time of the year and you know it doesn’t feel the same without the annual trip to a Christmas market. The lights, the stalls and the food! What more could you want! Imagine visiting different markets throughout Europe! That sounds like the perfect way to spend the holidays if you’re asking me more!
Ok, so I couldn’t decide between the two! Both seem equally as thrilling and wonderful but also terrifying. See the world from the top or explore the bottom of the ocean. See life in the sky and life underwater. Witness this beautiful planet in all it’s glory. Make the most out of your time here on this planet! Explore, create and have fun. Life is too short to limit yourself or miss out on opportunities. There is endless amounts to do and experiences are just waiting for you to seek them out. Have fun! This is one of the things you need to do before you turn 30.
