The Plant Cafe advertises itself as a vegetarian cafe, although they do also have a range of vegan options – many of their reviews contain raves about how great these options are. They have a zero-waste policy, so everything is either compostable or biodegradable, so you can eat here safe in knowledge that it will have as little impact on the environment as possible. All food is also made from scratch and is organic wherever possible, so you sure to have tasty, fresh out the kitchen food whenever you come here. This place is in a wonderful location on the cathedral green, and has a lovely family atmosphere, meaning it’s a great place to go and have a long lunch. The Canopy is an absolutely gorgeous tree-themed restaurant that allows group bookings and parties, but if you fancy going with just a couple of friends or even that special someone, then it’s perfect for that too. The muted lighting, feature tree in the middle of the restaurants and chairs carved from wood give this place and absolutely magical atmosphere. They have a range of vegetarian and vegan options, and are open to any required alterations to the menu, so you can pick and choose to your heart’s desire.
