Night in the Woods is an adorable game with the cutest animation – but is much darker under the surface. The pastel colour palette and sweet character drawings make it a relaxing and enjoyable game for a lazy day in bed.
This is an indie game that is available on steam but believe me when I say it is totally worth the purchase. As the title suggests, you are a house flipper. You buy houses, give them a makeover, and then sell them for a profit. The reason this game is so fun though is that you have to do all the makeover work yourself. You have to physically paint the walls, sweep the floor, tile the bathroom, install the plumbing. Everything is up to you. Do you want to change the size of a room? Just sledgehammer the wall! The game also recently got a landscaping DLC that you can download which allows you to makeover the garden too! Mowing the grass, planting flowers, and digging the soil are all options for you. This game is so much fun and the lack of danger means it is a great way to relax and switch off after a long day.
