The annual music event is located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, just east of Palm Springs. The stellar location will drive your Instagram crazy! Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (this is its full name) is held over two weekends. For its 20th edition it will take place on 12th-14th and 19th-21st of April.
Coachella 2019 tickets went on sale on 4th of January at the price of $429 for general admission and $999 for VIP entry. Sadly, they were sold out in a few days, if not hours. Besides this, you can still hope for grabbing one of these coveted tickets. Visit the festival website www.coachella.com and add your name to the waitlist. Fingers crossed!
The full list of artists is already out. Last year, its stages were furrowed by artists of the likes of Beyoncé and Eminem. This edition is also characterized by a strong lineup, particularly for electronic music fans. Coachella 2019 will be headlined by Ariana Grande, who is going to close the desert carnival on the last night. Alongside her, Childish Gambino on the opening day and Tame Impala playing the second. Going down to perform in the Californian Valley will be also a mix of massive DJs, genre-hopping soul stars and some of the biggest mainstream bands. Just for cite some names, highlights include Janelle Monáe, Diplo, Solange, DJ Snake, Weezer, Aphex Twin, Khalid, Billie Eilish, Kid Cudi and more.
The best way to get to Coachella is to fly to Los Angeles or Palm Springs. Once there, the festival site is about 30 minutes drive from the city, perfect location to base yourself from. On top of that, it was announced that more direct flights from LAX Airport have been added on the occasion of the festival.
