10 Things Every Quinnipiac Student Asks Themselves

There are so many things every Quinnipiac student asks themselves on a daily basis. From life choices, to academics, whether it’s your freshman year or your senior year, you’ll be sure to ask yourself these questions at one point, if you haven’t already.

1. “Is the line for the Post Office always this long?”

YES. 100% yes.

2. “I wonder if staring at my professor, pretending to look interested will prevent me from being called on?”

Works on QU professors like a charm.

3. “Is everyone here rich and preppy?” “Did I miss the memo or something?”

Not saying that these people don’t exist here, But theres is a common misconception and stereotype when it comes to the students here at QU. While the school may not be the most diverse, most students are very friendly, open to meeting new people and come from many different backgrounds.

4. “It’s winter and freezing outside. Do I reallllyyyyy feel like going out?”

Typically, the answer is usually YES (even if that means waiting in long lines and possibly not getting in!) *cough cough Toads*

5. “Do I even bother looking for parking in the North Lot?”

If you really really miss your childhood and are in for a LONG round of musical chairs be my guest. Otherwise good luck.. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers.

6. 7pm: “Toads anyone?” 1am: “Toads anyone?”

No matter what time of night, if you’re in the mood to party the answer will probably be yes. However keep in mind that Toads is a hit or miss kind of place, you either have fun or its a total bust. Some love it and some absolutely hate it, either way both types of people will find their way to Toads eventually.But aside from the ridiculous line to get in and extremely hot, crowded room where you will definitely be grinded on, whats not to love!

7. “So is there a Starbucks here or not?”

This question is up in the air left for interpretation. It really depends on where you come from. If you’re from a heavy Starbucks populated area and have high standards the answer is no. We have a Starbucks coffee machine in the Rat that makes your basic coffee drinks but thats about it. However if you’re a newbie (and a coffee lover) then you will fall in love with out tiny Starbucks.

8. “Will assignments posted to BlackBoard really be checked for plagiarism?”

Don’t know and really really don’t wanna know, you’ll have to find out for yourself! However, if you ask your professors most will say yes so there is a great possibility.

9. “I have class soon, should I just go to the library and study instead of going back to my dorm?”

F*** IT ! *Walks toward dorm room*

10. “Should I seriously wait 20 minutes on this like at Au Bon Pain just for a small cup of coffee?”

One hundred percent HELL YES.
