The Best Hair Products To Tame Your Summer Frizziness

Summer is one of the best seasons. We can look forward to warm weather, salty ocean water, and days spent at the beach. Unfortunately, with that comes salty, coarse hair that can sometimes be super hard to tame in the heat of the summer. Don’t worry, though, we’ve got you covered. Here are some of the absolute best hair products you can use this summer to tame your frizziness!

1. Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil

Olaplex is one of the best hair products out there for restoring your hair back to its full potential. We all go through periods of time where we apply way too much heat to our hair, causing split ends and our hair to dry up. This can obviously lead to frizziness that can get even worse in the summer when we are in the heat 24/7. I 100% recommend this Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil. It’s a very lightweight oil that goes on the ends of your hair after you shower. It reduces frizz and adds a lot of shine to your hair. Definitely give it a shot. Sephora sells it, the link is attached below! Shop it now before it’s out of stock, they always sell out quick!

2. Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream

This Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Styling Cream is one of the best hair products to tame frizziness. Living Proof is a great brand in general, but the best part is that they literally carry a “no frizz” line of products to help those who deal with frizzy hair. This styling cream is to go in your hair after you shower, like a regular hair cream. It will moisturize and helps style hair easier! 10/10 recommend!

3. Living Proof No Frizz Instant De-Frizzer

Another Living Proof No Frizz product! This product is one of my all time favorites, and one of their best hair products in my opinion. You can use it literally whenever. It doesn’t make hair greasy or sticky either. I use it after I style my hair, and I have a mini one that fits in my purse for random touch-ups throughout the day and/or night.

4. Prose Anti-Frizz Leave-In Conditioner

Prose is a growing brand, but I think it has the potential to be one of the best hair products out there. This leave-in conditioner is AMAZING for taming frizziness. They don’t have too many products yet as they are still growing, but they have not disappointed me yet. They have their own website you can shop on below, but hopefully, their products spread on over to Sephora and other beauty stores too!

5. Reverie Milk Anti-Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment

Reverie is a very very very good brand for some of the best hair products to restore hair. This Milk Anti-Frizz Leave-In Nourishing Treatment is absolutely great for when you want your hair to dry naturally but you are so sick of the frizz! This treatment is super soft and gentle and brings in a lot of moisture to your hair that you need in the summer.

6. Ouai Matte Pomade

I am obsessed with Ouai hair products. They have some of the best hair products out there, for they have not failed me yet! I have this matte pomade as well as their wave spray which gives me natural waves fresh out of the shower. The matte pomade is a must for when dealing with random flyaways, especially in the summer when frizz is at an all-time high. It kind of works like a hair gel, but there is no greasy after effect that has your hair looking or feeling gross. Shop it below!

7. Moroccanoil Treatment

Moroccanoil is a very well-known and well-trusted haircare brand that I have been using for years. It was one of the first haircare treatments/serums that my hairdresser ever used on me, and I haven’t looked back since! This serum goes on damp hair, mostly on the ends so your roots don’t get super greasy. It leaves your hair feeling soft, shiny, and tames frizz so much!

8. Kérastase Discipline Blow-Dry Smoothing Primer

Kérastaste is a well-trusted haircare brand that I have known about forever. A lot of hairdressers use this brand as well. This blow-dry smoothing primer is a great product to put on before you blow-dry hair for it protects hair from heat and frizz that can be made from using heat products.

9. Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

This brand, Gisou, is not as well known of a haircare brand but I really think it’ll soon be one of the most popular and best hair products out there. This honey-infused hair oil not only smells great, but it feels great on your hair. If you put it on damp hair and then style as needed, it’ll come out so smooth and frizz-free.

10. Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask

Let me tell you, this hair mask is one of the absolute best hair masks I have EVER used! It is, as the name says, intensely hydrating and nourishing. It makes your hair incredibly soft and feels so smooth. You put it on after shampoo, leave it on for like ten minutes with a shower cap to keep the moisture in, then rinse and use conditioner as usual. After your hair dries, either naturally or blow-dried, it will feel so soft and full of life like never before! Pair it with the Moroccanoil Serum Treatment for the best frizz-free summer hair!
