It’s back to school season (otherwise known as fall), and we’re all headed out shopping for new clothes. But why not update your makeup drawer while you’re at it? We’ve put together a list of the fall eye makeup you have to try this year.
Fall eye makeup tend to focus on warm colors with neutral tones, and if you’re looking to simplify your routine this is a great place to start. This base will make your eyeshadow last longer and would be a really pretty all over lid color. You could wear it on your own or add a matte brown in the crease for an easy every day look. Or, dress it up with some beige sparkles over top and a darker crease!

This palette is an excellent addition to your collection if you already have a lot of the basics and you’re looking to add more colors and more sparkles. You could feasibly make an eye look from just this palette, too, or just use it to supplement what you already have. All of these colors are absolutely perfect for fall!

This is a great shadow to throw on in the morning for a fall eye makeup look that looks put together without taking too much time. This liquid eyeshadow from Bare Minerals is a great way to add some sparkle to your fall eye makeup. You could wear this alone or on top of other shadows, and would be a perfect way to add some drama to your every day make up to transition from day to night. This is a great thing to have around for those days when you feel like wearing make up to class but you don’t feel like putting too much time into it!

With all the late night study sessions and nights out with friends you’ll be having, it’ll be helpful to have a few tricks up your sleeve to make yourself look a little more awake when you’re headed to class. A staple of fall eye makeup is the smokey eye. If you’re a fan of black eyeliner, you should take a look at the Faux Black line of eyeliners from NYX. They all look like black eyeliner unless you’re up close. Then you can see they’re actually really dark versions of other colors. It’s definitely worth it to try the dark maroon and the dark green.

If black eyeliner is a little too harsh for you for everyday, you might try this pencil eyeliner from Urban Decay. The color is rich but it’s not as stark as black eyeliner, but will still give your eyes definition. The sparkles will also draw attention to yours, as an added bonus. This would also be a great color to smudge under your eyes for a more dramatic look.
