The Best Coffee Recipes At Starbucks For The Summer Heat

The summer heat is coming up, and you know what that means! It means that we are going to need some cool iced coffees to keep us from absolutely overheating in the summer sun. Whether you want to take a trip to Starbucks to start your day or energize during your lunch break, or if you want to recreate it at home, here are some of the best coffee recipes at Starbucks to tackle the summer heat! We will include below the recipes to make the drink at home if you wish.

1. Iced Caramel Macchiato

Iced caramel macchiatos from Starbucks are absolutely delicious. Treat yourself in the summer sun to this refreshing and sweet coffee. It is so easy to make at home, but I swear Starbucks Caramel macchiatos are just ADDICTING! All you need to make this divine drink is a couple shots of espresso, a milk of your choosing, and caramel sauce! Easy as pie. I like to layer the cup with caramel sauce first, add ice, add almond milk (totally up to you, but that is my favorite milk), then pour the espresso on top of the milk. This layer of milk and espresso on top is what defines a macchiato. Then top it off with more caramel sauce. Enjoy–you will never want to stop drinking this!

2. Iced Chocolate Almond Milk Shaken Espresso

Yum. This is one of the best coffee recipes if you are a lover of espresso, like me! I love espresso more than regular coffee because it is a lot stronger and in my opinion, it tastes a lot better and richer! This drink at Starbucks is relatively new, and actually super easy to recreate at home. All you need is some ice, chocolate/mocha sauce, a couple shots of espresso, and shake it up before pouring with some almond milk! It is seriously so yummy, especially if you put some cocoa powder on top.

3. Iced Starbucks Blonde Vanilla Latte

Starbucks does an absolute killer blonde vanilla latte. If you don’t already know, latte’s are made with espresso rather than brewed coffee. The espresso beans in this recipe are lighter, hence the name blonde. Add some vanilla syrup and milk of your choosing, and there you have it! A delicious iced vanilla latte. This is one of the best coffee recipes.

4. Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte

This is one of the best coffee recipes for a little morning boost, especially if you love cinnamon as much as I do! You use espresso, ice, cinnamon dolce syrup, milk of your choice, and you can (if you wish) top with whipped cream and cinnamon powder! It is perfectly delicious and it actually reminds me a little bit of fall.

5. Caramel Ribbon Crunch Blended Frappuccino

The caramel ribbon crunch blended frappuccino is so delicious, making it one of the best coffee recipes, especially if you have a sweet tooth! Essentially, frappuccino’s are blended coffee with ice and milk with added sugars for flavor. I have heard that to make it at home, you blend milk, ice, and coffee together. Then, you add your caramel sauce and dry pudding mix… I know it seems random, but I have heard that before that it helps with the flavor and consistency of the Frappuccino. The last part is more so optional, where you can add in toffee pieces and whipped cream, and more caramel sauce on top. Perfect for a day in the summer heat!

6. Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew Coffee

I am obsessed with anything salted caramel, so this Starbucks Salted Caramel Cream Cold Brew Coffee is one of their best coffee recipes, in my opinion. It is sweet but not too sweet, the perfect level of creamy, and it is the ultimate wake-up drink. Imagine this: A long beach day, and you need a pick me up before dinnertime. This is what you want, this is what you need! It is essentially just cold brew coffee, milk of your choice, vanilla and caramel syrup, topped with a salted vanilla sweet cream cold foam.

7. Honey Almond Milk Cold Brew Coffee

This Starbucks drink is a lot of people’s favorite because the honey adds a natural sweetness rather than a ton of artificial sugar. The recipe is pretty straightforward, literally just almond milk, cold brew, and honey! It sounds a bit bizarre to put honey in your coffee, but it is so good. It is sweet and absolutely delicious. Don’t knock it ’til you try it!

8. Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew Coffee

If you haven’t tried Starbucks nitro cold brew, this is your sign. This coffee is literally so strong, I’m pretty sure they don’t sell it any bigger than a grande because it has so much caffeine. If you are a big coffee drinker and need something strong to function in the summer sun, then this is the drink for you. You can have it black, or flavor it however you would like. It is super strong, so beware before you drink the whole thing too quickly!

9. Starbucks Cold Brew Coffee

Similar to the nitro cold brew, Starbucks regular cold brew coffee is just as delicious. I think all coffee can wake people up, so if you don’t need a Nitro boost, then this is for you! You can buy it at the store itself or at grocery stores in pre-packed jugs. Totally worth it if you do more at home!

10. Irish Cream Cold Brew Coffee

The Irish cream cold brew is so delicious and actually easy to make. All you need is cold brew coffee, milk of your choosing, and Irish cream syrup. Then, to make cold foam on top you just need to froth milk and vanilla syrup together and pour on top! Yummy and easy.
