A Bloody Mary is a basic brunch classic and it does not seem to be a part of the sweet cocktails’ list, but it is a good option for people who want a healthier and spicier cocktail in the summer. If you take out the alcohol and make it a virgin Bloody Mary, it is a viable option for diabetics. Add a celery stalk or a dill spear and use low-sodium tomato juice.

Bloody Mary has other ingredients besides the low-sodium tomato juice that are combined in this recipe like lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, freshly ground pepper, hot sauce (Tabasco or Cholula), and a celery stalk or a dill spear to garnish the beverage.
2. Kiwi Martini
Kiwi Martinis are good sweet cocktails for the summer due to their rich, kiwi flavor. They are also a good option for people with diabetes. If you use a natural sweetener like Stevia or a sugar substitute like Splenda in your simple syrup recipe, you will have a diabetic cocktail. These particular martinis are made with two different alcoholic components, gin and vodka, but will use similar ingredients.

If you have not tried a Piña Colada before, you should just to know what you are missing.

Mojitos are one of the best sweet cocktails to start with for social gatherings or when you want to relax at the beach. These sweet cocktails are the best if you like citrus and mint in your beverage. Mojitos are also a good option for a person with diabetes, if you replace the sugar in the simple syrup with a natural sweetener like Stevia or a sugar substitute like Splenda.

Although this beverage has two ingredients, there are multiple variations of this cocktail.
If you want your Screwdriver to have an interesting twist, you can add Sprite, 7-Up, or the equivalent. However, if you do not want to add anymore sugar to the concoction, then you can add club soda with each of these options you can get a spritzer effect. When you pour the drink over the ice (or the rocks) it will delude itself over time. If you want to get all of the tangy goodness, you should drink this cocktail with a straw.
6. Strawberry Daiquiri
Strawberry Daiquiris are good sweet cocktails for the summer due to their rich, strawberry flavor. Could you imagine yourself drinking this sweet cocktail while lounging at a beach? These sweet cocktails are not limited to diabetics if you swap out certain aspects of the drink to suit their needs. A perfect example of this is using fresh fruit for the daiquiri and replacing the sugar with a sugar substitute like Stevia or Splenda.

When mixing these types of drinks, you need to use top-shelf tequila. Casamigos, Milagro Barrel Reserve Silver, Tequila Fortaleza Blanco Still Strength, and Tequila Codigo 1530 Rosa are just a few of these types of tequila to use.
The Tequila Honeysuckle also has other ingredients that are combined in this recipe like lime juice, honey syrup, ice and a slice of lime to garnish the beverage. The Tequila Honeysuckle is a good and refreshing beverage to have for this spring.
8. Tequila Sunrise
The Tequila Sunrise is a citrusy drink like most of the sweet cocktails, unlike the Bloody Mary, it offers sweet flavors to your repertoire. This beverage’s ingredients include tequila, orange juice, grenadine syrup, an orange slice and a maraschino cherry to garnish the cocktail. Like a Screwdriver, it is served in a highball glass filled with ice and it also shares one key ingredient with the Screwdriver: orange juice. The Tequila Sunrise is not only a citrusy cocktail, it is also a gluten-free alcoholic drink for people who do not like gluten or are allergic to it.
9. Tom Collins
If you like non-alcoholic beverages like Sprite, Squirt or Mountain Dew, you will love the Tom Collins! This drink, unlike most of the sweet cocktails, offers sweet and fizzy flavors to your repertoire. A Tom Collins is a good option for a person with diabetes since the gin and the club soda have a limited amount of carbohydrates compared to other drinks.

If you want your Tom Collins to be sweeter, you can replace the club soda with Diet 7-Up or Sprite Zero. Also, if you are diabetic, you will need to replace the sugar in the simple syrup’s recipe by adding a natural sweetener like Stevia or a sugar substitute like Splenda.
10. Wedding Cake Cocktail
The Wedding Cake Cocktail is one of the sweet cocktails that does not have to be served just for wedding events, it can be served for different occasions like work-related parties, birthday parties and other formal and casual settings. This drink’s recipe is essentially that of a tropical gin smoothie with its flavorful accenting liquor and citrusy counterparts: orange juice and pineapple juice.
There are also other ingredients to this cocktail like amaretto, gin, cream, and ice to blend in the cocktail. The Wedding Cake Cocktail does not always have to consist of this recipe, there are other ways to make this beverage by using different components.
The Wedding Cake Cocktail is easy to make with different ingredients without reducing your paycheck to smithereens. This beverage’s ingredients include whipped cream vodka, a can of Country Time Lemonade and ice. When you taste this cocktail, no matter what ingredients are used, it will taste like you are eating a wedding cake.
