Summer Pedicures You Need In Your Life

Summer will be here before you know it, and soon we’ll be wearing sandals or at the beach or pool with no shoes on our feet. Do you know what that means? It is time for summer pedicures, but not just any pedicures, striking designs, and colors to go with your flawless swimsuits!

Jeweled Blue & Gold Pedicure

Summer often has us thinking of the blue ocean waters and the sun sparkling on the water in the distance. What better than to do a blue polish with gold embellishments? Try using the gold striping stickers often available in many nail kits available on amazon, Sallys Beauty, and other online or in-store retailers. You can glue on gold gem embellishments with the gold stickers to add to the blue and gold summer theme.

Lavender Hibiscus Flower Pedicure

If you’re looking for something different than the typical neon colors worn seen in summer pedicures, then you will love this pedicure. A pastel lavender purple is the nail’s base color, while decorated with a pink hibiscus flower embellishment on the big toe makes a statement. Each toe is lined with a skinny strip of white on the edge of the nail. It is a perfect design for those looking for a more wearable look on most of the nails with an accent design on one nail. To create this design, try a small brush to create the flower. Add a gem in the center where pollen would be, and of course, you can always look for striping tools or polish available at Sallys Beauty Stores or online.

4th Of July Pedicure

The summer brings forth a time of celebration, including the 4th of July. If you live in the United States, you will most likely celebrate the 4th of July, and what better way to show patriotism than to deck yourself out in red, white, and blue? This pedicure is simple, with red and blue diagonal painted nails and white stars marrying the big toe’s two colors. At the same time, white polka dots decorate the rest of the nail and the remaining toenails. Try using a dotting tool for this, but if you do not have one, use a toothpick and dip the end into the white polish to create your stars and dots.

Palm Tree Ocean Pedicure

Summertime often has us visualizing palm trees swaying and a beautiful calm ocean. Try this pedicure on your feet as it is relatively simple to achieve and is a beautiful look for the summertime. The majority of the nails will be blue. Start with turquoise and light blue color as the base of the nail. Use a brush or toothpick to run white and other blue shades along the toenails’ bottom. After it has dried, use a brush or toothpick to create a green or a black silhouette palm tree on your big toe. You will love the outcome of this design, and be sure to get a ton of compliments on your beach-themed pedicure.

Pink French Gem Pedicure

This design is a straightforward one that most anyone can try out for the summer. If you are not big on color for summer pedicures and want something more natural with a little flair, this is the look for you. The toenail base is a pink or natural color polish lined with a thin white stripe at the toenail’s bottom. Imagine a french tip design, but for your toenails. The large toenail will have several gems glued along the side in a C curve design. The embellishment makes your toes stand out but is not over the top and can be worn with any beach or summer outfit. Try this look if you want a beautiful natural pedicure!

Black and White Striped with Pink Toes Pedicure

This design is simple and cute and not a typical summer design. However, it is a great color combination and perfect for someone who does not want neon colors and wants something that can go with almost any outfit design for the summer. Start with painting the big toe black. Next, use white to create horizontal stripes across the big toe. On the remaining toes, use any variation of pink you like. In the photo below, you will see a blush pink used. You can choose a neon color pink or any color of your choice if you do not favor pink. Be creative and wear what you like best!

Rainbow Polka Dot Pedicure

If you love neon colors and rainbow, you will love this option for summer pedicures! The big toe is primarily white but has several polka dots in various colors around the toenail’s bottom and sides. The other toes each have a different color on the toenail. You can choose any colors you like or use the big toe colors to keep the look cohesive. Seal your look with a topcoat or add gems if you want some extra pizzaz. Either way, this pedicure is the perfect look for all the standard summer colors worn throughout the season!

Purple and White Flower Pedicure

This pedicure is beautiful and can be created at home. The big toenail is primarily white and has a purple flower in the middle of it. There are stems without a bud on the flower’s sides and a couple of small gems for embellishment. You can use a small brush to create the flower design and use a toothpick or dotting tool to create the budless stems. The remaining nails are the same purple as the flower and create a beautiful complete look perfect for summer.

Pink, Black, and Glitter Pedicure

This design is unique as it does not necessarily dawn a primary color on the big toe. There is a gap between that color and the start of the nail where cuticles are located. A semi-circle is outlined in black and filled in with gold sparkles. The next toe is all gold sparkle, and the next toe copies the big toe design of pink at the tip and a small semi-circle outlined in black and filled with gold sparkles. Alternate between this design for the remaining toes. If you love pink and black and sparkle, this design will love for the summer!

Pineapple Sky Pedicure

If you love fruit, you will love this pineapple summer design. Start with a light blue or pastel green color as the primary color for all your nails. The big toe requires a few different colors, such as black, green, and a golden color. Use a small brush to get the details just right; you may want to use a toothpick or other tool to make sure you get the details of the pineapple lines and the leaves just right. The remaining nails will be the light blue or pastel green that you chose for your big toe. However, you will use white to create a chevron pattern on those remaining toes.

Summer is not always about the brightest colors, but also the fun and fashion-forward designs. You may not always wear a bright swimsuit; you may go to a beach party or a pool party, and what you choose for your nails and your pedicure often come together with whatever outfit you choose. Make the most of the warmth with these summer pedicures, and let us know which designs you like the most!
