10 Summer Non-Alcoholic Drinks to Make

Summer is the best season to just kick back and relax. Why not grab a summer non-alcoholic drink and soak up the rays as well as your delicious beverage?

1. Strawberry Limeade

Limes are making a comeback, they do differ very slightly from lemons. Lemons are sour whereas limes are more bitter but each is very acidic. With this Summer Non-Alcoholic Drink the lime goes great with the strawberry. This recipe will make enough for you and a friend or just for you to have seconds. To make this drink you will need ½ cup of lime juice, 1/3 water and sugar, ½ lb. of finely sliced strawberries, 20 mint leaves, and 2 cups of ice-cold water. To begin, in a pitcher combine all the ingredients together and stir vigorously for about a minute. Then place the drink in the refrigerator for about 3 hours and then enjoy it.

2. Raspberry Vanilla Soda

This bubbly drink is a refreshing summer non-alcoholic drink that you would want to enjoy all summer long. To make this drink you will need, ¼ cup of water and sugar, 1 cup of raspberries, 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, seltzer water, and 2 cups of crushed ice. In a small pan set the over top on medium, combine the water, sugar, and raspberries. Cook for 5 minutes or until the sugar is dissolved. Using a strainer, hold over a bowl, pour the mixture through the strainer. In the bowl add lemon juice to the mixture. Get a glass cup and add ice and about 2-3 tablespoons of the raspberry syrup and about a cup of seltzer. Then enjoy your tasty summer non-alcoholic drink.

3. Melon Sorbet Float

This recipe is a serving for one. If you are sharing just double everything and you will be able to share this delicious summer non-acholic drink with a friend. The melon balls you will need for this recipe can be whichever you choose; honeydew, watermelon, cantaloupe. To start, get an assorted type of melon balls, 2 scoops of fruity sorbet; like orange, lemon, raspberry, or even pineapple, mint leaves and seltzer water. This recipe can take a while if you include the amount of time it takes to freeze, so give yourself enough time to prepare. To begin, freeze the melon balls for at least 3 hours. In a glass put the sorbet at the bottom and then put the frozen melon balls on top. Put in a few mint leaves, however many you desire then add water. The last step is to let the sorbet melt and then drink up.

4. Citrus Cooler

This is a perfect summer drink to enjoy at a backyard bar-b-que. You only need a few ingredients and can make enough for 8 servings. To start, you will need 2 cups of orange juice, ½ cup of lime juice and lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar and 6 cups of club soda. The next step is also the last. In a measuring cup add all the ingredients and mix together. Then pour into 8 glasses and cheers then enjoy.

This is a classic that is the perfect drink to get your summer started. This recipe is for 1 serving. Get ½ cup of sweet tea and ½ cup of lemonade. Mix the 2 together and you got yourself an Arnold Palmer.

6. Dole Whip Lemonade

Summer non-alcoholic drinks can be just as enjoyable as those with alcohol. This tasty drink is simple and quick to make. You will need 3 ingredients and about 10 minutes to spare. You will need 1 cup of frozen pineapples, 1 cup of lemonade, and ½ cup of coconut milk. Blend all the ingredients together in a blender. Then pour your desired amount into a glass and drink up.

7. Cucumber Mint Glow Water

This drink is best at quenching your thirst, especially during the hot summer. It has no calories and is very refreshing. This drink takes less than 5 minutes to prepare and only needs 4 ingredients and can make 3 servings. You will need 3 cans of seltzer water, 1 cucumber cut into rounds of half inches thick, 3 sprigs mints, and 1 thinly sliced lemon. In a glass cup, add a cup of seltzer water, a few cucumbers, a couple of lemons, and one mint sprigs. You can enjoy the drink as is or place in the refrigerator to chill and then enjoy later.

8. Watermelon Lemonade

I like simple. This summer non-alcoholic drink is just that. You don’t have to add the watermelon chunks and can use ice cubes instead. Get a small watermelon and cut into small chunks and then freeze. These chunks will act as your ice cubes.  Once the chunks are frozen combine ¼ cup of lemonade and ¼ cup of watermelon juice. You don’t have to worry about your tasty drink getting watered down because the watermelon chunks would be keeping your drink cold and while it melts will give you more flavor. Once you finish your drink you now have a fruity snack to enjoy or a refill is on its way.

9. Popsicle Punch

The popsicles are the ice cubes of these drinks except it will not dilute your drink. This recipe will make enough for 6 in just under 5 minutes. You will need 4 cups of lemon-lime soda, 4 cups of lemonade, 1 can of seltzer,1 cup of thinly sliced strawberries, 2 cubed mangos, 3 strawberry popsicles, and 3 mango popsicles. Grab a large pitcher and add in all the ingredients except the popsicles and mix together. Once mixed pour the drink into 6 separate cups and in each cup add in a popsicle. Then sit back and enjoy your drinks with your company.

10. Mermaid Lemonade

The tropical color of this drink is just eye-catching, it looks like a delicious mocktail that anyone can enjoy. You will need 2 cups of ice, blue food dye,1 cup of seltzer, 2 cups of lemonade, 4 slices of lemon slices, and 4 small cherries. Get 4 glasses, and in each put ¼ of ice. Add a drop of food dye in each glass. Pour in ½ cup of lemonade in each and then add another ½ cup of ice. Top each drink with lemon slices and 2 cherries each. Then pass out to your friends and family and enjoy it.
