10 Summer Drink Recipes You’ll Be Drinking All Summer Long

Summer is fast approaching and you know what that means? Beaches and drinks! There is nothing more relaxing than going out to the beach with your girlfriends, strolling along the boardwalk and ordering yourself a nice cold one. But depending on where you are in the world, you may not be able to access the beach so easily. Or you may not even want to put yourself through the trouble of going to the beach.

So what is the next best solution? Bring the beach to you of course! How do you do that? By wiping up the same drinks that you would order at the beach, right in the comfort of your own home! Here are 10 summer drink recipes you’ll be drinking all summer long.

1. Malibu Bay Breeze

This one is a personal favorite of mine that honestly I think you could drink all year round. But it definitely is a drink made for the summer. The ingredients:

1 1/2 ounce of coconut rum

2 ounces of cranberry juice

2 ounces of pineapple

Mix together and enjoy!


2. Sex On The Beach

In case you needed any more convincing that this belongs on the summer drink recipes list, it has the word “beach” right in the name! A very desirable, sweet fruity drink, you’ll be wanting to make them all night long! Ingredients: 

1 ounce of vodka

1 ounce of peach schnapps

3 ounces of orange juice

3 ounces of cranberry juice

3. Irish Trash Can

This drink a bit heavy because it contains a lot of different mixtures of alcohol plus an 8 ounce can of Redbull to top it off, but it is delicious and will make your summer that much better. Ingredients:

1 ounce vodka

1 ounce gin

1 ounce rum

1 ounce triple sec

1 ounce blue curacao

1/2 ounce peach schnapps

1 can of Redbull


4.  Piña Colada

Yes, this classic drink had to make the summer drink recipes list! A frozen mixture of coconut and alcohol, there is nothing more relaxing than this drink on a hot summer day. Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup ice

1/2 cup diced pineapple, frozen

2 ounces pineapple juice

2 ounces Coco Lopez coconut cream

1 1/2 ounces white rum

1 ounce dark rum

Pineapple slices

Mix it all together, blend it, top it off with some extra pineapple slices, and you have made a heavenly drink!

5. Strawberry Daiquiri

Another classic to make the summer drink recipes list, the cool frozen taste of strawberries going down your throat will only make you want to make many more for the rest of the summer days. Ingredients:

6 cups ice

1/2 cup white sugar

4 ounces frozen strawberries

1/8 cup lime juice

1/2 cup lemon juice

3/4 cup rum

Combine them all together in a blender and you have yourself a relaxing drink of the summer.


6. Classic Margarita

You can’t have a summer drink recipes list that does not include the classic margarita. This lime sour drink is just what you are going to need on those hot days. Ingredients:

2 ounces tequila

1 ounce Cointreau

1/2 ounce fresh juice from limes

7. Mojito

A great spin on margarita but with white rum. Ingredients:

1 ounce fresh lime juice

crushed ice

2 ounces white rum

1 ounce club soda

8. Watermelon Tequila

Introducing some watermelon into your list of summer drinks will not disappoint you! This recipe is more for a pitcher than a single cup. Ingredients:

1/4 cup water

8 cups diced seedless watermelon

1/4 cup fresh lime juice

1 3/4 cups blueberries

3/4 cup lightly packed fresh mint leaves

1 1/4 cups silver tequila

9. Colorado Cooler

Adding some whiskey to our list of summer drink recipes. Ingredients:

1 ounce chilled club soda

3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice

3/4 ounce simple syrup

2-ounce malt whiskey

Ice

4 Cherries

Shake up, add cherries, enjoy

10. Porch Crawler

A drink that is perfect for those hot summer nights. Ingredients:

2 ounces chilled club soda

1 ounce fresh lemon juice

1 ounce simple syrup

1 hold chile

ice

5 cherries

3 mint leaves

2 ounces of white rum
