20 Signs He Is In Love With You

It can be difficult to understand what your partner is feeling or figure out how they feel about you. Sometimes your significant other can have a hard time directly expressing how they feel. Luckily, there are some more subtle ways for you to tell that your partner has some deep feelings for you.

Here are 20 ways to tell that your significant other is in love with you.

1. He takes in interest in you and your life

One way to tell that your partner is in love with you is in the questions he asks you. Does he ask you questions about your life, your family, your life goals? If he’s asking these questions, he’s trying to get to know you better, which his a good sign that he’s in love with you.

2. He tries to make you a part of his life

If your partner has strong feelings for you, he’ll try to make you a part of his life. Maybe he plays for a school sports team and he invites you to one of his games. Or maybe he invites you to an outing with him and his family. It’s a good sign if he’s trying to bring you into his life.

3. He’s always there for you

A partner who’s in love with you will always make an effort to provide emotional support when you need it. They may not always be able to solve your problems for you, but they will make an effort to be a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.

4. He seems invested in conversations

When you and your partner can have a conversation with no distractions, it’s a good sign that he’s invested in the conversation and you by extension. If he seems like a natural conversationalist, even if he doesn’t seem that way with other people, it’s a sign that he genuinely enjoys talking to you.

5. He shows you off

With the prevalence of social media nowadays, it’s easier than ever to tell whether or not your partner is showing you off. This usually looks like a post or two of you guys together on his Instagram and maybe, even though it’s a little antiquated at this point, the coveted relationship status update on Facebook.

6. He’s open with you

You may notice that your partner begins to share more and more with you as your relationship continues to develop. This shows that he’s getting comfortable with you and he feels he can share details about his life with you.

He may share his insecurities with you or things he doesn’t share with anyone else. If you’re his confidant, it may be a sign that he’s in love with you.

7. He remembers details about you

This is proof that he’s paying attention to you, even when you don’t always notice. It can be something big, like what you’re planning on majoring in in college or your dream career, or something as small as your ice cream order.

When he remembers little things from your conversations, it shows that he listens to you and values what you say.

8. His family likes you

Your relationship with his family can sometimes make or break a relationship. If your interactions with his family are positive, it can indicate that he talks highly of you to his family when you’re not around.

9. He’s deleted dating apps off of his phone

Dating apps are essentially what people use to “shop around” for partners when they’re not in a committed relationship. It’s one thing if he just stops using them, but if he deletes them off of his phone entirely, it’s his way of saying he’s taken himself off the market. It’s a way of saying he feels secure in this relationship and that it’s one he sees lasting for a long time.

Many times women will talk about trying to learn about a particular sport or TV show in order to have something else in common with their partner and to show that they love them. Men can do this, too. He may show his love for you by trying to listen to some of your favorite artists or learning more about topics that you’re interested in.

11. He lets you know you’re on his mind

If he thinks of you even when you’re not together, that’s a good sign that he’s in love with you. This can look like him having a song that he associates as “your” song or seeing a funny tweet that reminds him of you. You’re special to him if he starts seeing you in his every day life.

12. He gets you thoughtful gifts

This ties into him remembering small details about you. Maybe his Christmas present to you is something you mentioned wanting back in September. Or it’s something perfect that you’ve never even thought of before, but he knew that you’d love.
